"Sauna wasnt working and our room was really cold everything else was good and breakfast was great"

"It was adequate. No more, no less. No shower gel in the room throughout. The witty repartee over breakfast was a little tiresome given we are neither Harry Potter nor abba fans. "

"No plug in the sink. No house phone. No support (other than a hot towel rail) to get out of the shower/bath. Room lighting inadequate. Insufficient milk for morning tea/coffee (in all fairness you are not alone with this deficiency). Inadequate explanation when booking as to whether it is BandB or just Bed. If the car park is full (nowhere near enough if all rooms are taken) you have to walk back to the main building car park. Bedroom cold."

"Website really clear that there's no lift A message to reception ensured we didn't have too far to walk etc with mobility problems. Room was accessible, comfortable beds Dinner in the restaurant was really good. Recommend the fish and chips and chocolate orange torte. We didn't pay for breakfast so can't comment "

"Stayed here for 2 nights for work. I booked as the information on the Hotels.com website stated it had a car park. Please note that the hotel car park is just 12 spaces - there is a large public car park right behind this. You have to pay for both. Room was okay, large desk for working at, bed and ensuite were good. Step up into ensuite. There was lots of places to eat within 10-15 minutes walk, so I did not eat at the hotel."

"We have stayed here before and were very happy with our room and the surrounding gardens etc. But the hotel was obviously having issues with their TV's and telephones and was extremely busy so our TV didn't work and we didn't have a phone in our room. The staff tried to be helpful but couldn't rectify the situation. But it is a lovely venue and the breakfast was good."
