"Not cheap but worth it"

"Highly recommend the hotel for when staying in the UK for business or pleasure."

"Basic and did whatnot was meant to"

"On arrival they told me we couldn't dine there that night. I pointed out that I didn't travel hours to a remote hotel just to sleep there. I asked to see the manager and was about to demand a refund when they decided I could be squeezed in. This was at 3 PM not last minute (dinner was set for 7.30 pm), The receptionist was initially unhelpful and initially said we could eat in the bar. She also claimed the menu was the same (it was not). A terrible first impression and I was tempted to just...

"Stayed in one of the VIP rooms. However, wasn't one with the jacuzzi which seemed a little misleading based on the description. Arrived at the spa for them to have no record of us and waited for them to sort it out which considering the paying for club access is kind of a mood killer. That said the spa is nice and the treatment was fantastic. One of the upstairs shower rooms has mould on the wall which again isn't acceptable. However the venue is lovely. Breakfast was amazing, with lovely...

"The staff in the restaurant were very unhelpful and a tad miserable. They made no effort. The breakfast food was ok but nothing more. I couldn’t locate gluten free bread options nor could I find a member of staff to help. I had to ask for cutlery when I chose what food I could. The service was unimpressive. However, I attended a wedding the day before and the food was very good indeed - gf was catered for brilliantly which I why I have given it a 3 star rating."

"An excellent stay when we were there for the wedding. Really friendly staff, good breakfast and comfy rooms. Would have been good if coffee from bar didn't shut at 9pm."

"The rooms are clean but a little dated. Hotel is in a good location and very convenient for Stansted airport. Parking is £5 overnight. I would happily stay at the hotel again."

"It was unfortunately very average. I only stayed here 6 months ago and I feel my stay this time wasn’t as good. The staff were not very friendly. The room was very tired. On a positive note the breakfast has a good range of food and the lobby of the hotel is relaxing."

"Staff were exceptional rooms modern clean and comfortable. Location to the airport fantastic"

"My stay was very disappointing. The elevator was completely out of service, forcing me to haul my heavy luggage up to Room 17 on my own. To make matters worse, upon entering the room, the toilet had clearly not been properly cleaned or flushed prior to arrival. Basic standards of hygiene and facility maintenance were missing."

"It was a great experience"

"Quiet, clean everything I needed. And the bed was very comfy!"

"Excellent stay! My parents stayed at this hotel without speaking English, but that was never a barrier. The staff was extremely kind, helpful, and welcoming, which made their stay very comfortable. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the location was very convenient, with quick and easy access to the airport. The hotel also offers a great price for the quality and service. Above all, we truly appreciated the kindness and professionalism of the staff. I highly recommend this hotel and would...

"Good budget hotel, room can feel slightly mucky as there is no separate temperature control inside the room but otherwise good location and nice budget stay."
