"Staff is rude and money hungry. No restaurants to buy food that actually tastes good "

"The good things are the resort is really clean, staff are really friendly and helpful, different routes of shuttle bus are nonstop taking people around the resort, foods were excellent and well served with plenty of drink choice. Bad things are we paid for our transfer in Toronto for airport to hotel in Punta Cana there was no receipt and advise where to pick up our transfer so we had REALLY a hard time to look for your transfer to the resort since locals hardly speak any English so did the staff in the resort. Secondly, there was water leaking in the washroom. We also discovered that there were ants on our bed in the first room which made my wife and me couldn't sleep at all at the first night, furthermore there was no cold water for us either shower or bath tub, the water pressure was so slow which took 3 hours to fill half of the Jacuzzi, you needed another one hour to let the water in the Jacuzzi cooled down so that you can enter it, really frustrated indeed. You has to be a Hercules to open the glass door to the balcony. We moved to another room for the rest of the trip but still there wasn't any cold water at all. Conclusively, a slightly above average resort with good landscape, staff and food, not enough entertainment throughout the resort either day or night. Resort needed to be renovated in due course."

"First time at the resort and would definately book again. Most impressed with the attention to detail of all staff members. Also first time we've had a butler, Wilber, who was actually in touch with us everyday and took care of our requests and answered any questions right away! Consistently great food and drinks. Entertainment was excellent. Beach groomed everyday early morning. Wonderful vacation."

"My experience at this hotel was extremely disappointing. As a Black guest, I consistently felt that white guests were treated better. Making restaurant reservations was unnecessarily difficult, and even when seated, I was often served last or passed over entirely. The only restaurant where I received decent treatment was the Italian one. The food overall was poor, the customer service was terrible, and the rooms had a strong musty smell. The only enjoyable parts of the trip were the excursions outside the hotel. The most concerning incident happened the day before I left: I saw the housekeeper assigned to my room holding my bank pouch, and afterward I discovered money missing. She appeared startled when she saw me, and before I could ask her name, she quickly left and sent another housekeeper to retrieve her cart. I would not recommend this hotel, especially to Black travelers, based on my experience."

"Breathtaking property. They do a wonderful job of blending modern comfort with the natural beauty. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Located on the beach, this resort doesn't make you choose between a pool day and a beach day, you can have it all! "

"First the bad. The main restaurants reservations availability is lacking. They need add more availability. The 24/7 bar food is not the best and should at a minimum include pizza. The Ice Cream shop is only open from like 6 pm to 10 pm...But the Ice Cream is fantastic. Now the good. The property is amazing, the staff are fantastic and are very friendly. The food at the main restaurants is fantastic!! The food at the food trucks is very good. And of course the drinks are off the hook!!! The grounds crew are simply amazing, they keep the property sooo clean. We will be back"
