"This was our second stay at Black Rock Resort. We like the location as we love to hike. We can catch the Wild Pacific Trail right outside the resort. The resort has two lovely restaurants. It was at 96% capacity when we were there but it was still peaceful. The room was spacious and we thoroughly enjoy the fireplace. It is a great getaway. "

"Normally a very nice hotel but currently under renovation. Expedia did not show this when we booked which made for an uncomfortable stay. The hotel manager gave us good consideration and arranged for a refund. Great location for walking and sightseeing."

"It's a nice place but I was very disappointed when I found out that it didn't have a hot tub. That's one of the reasons I booked here because I saw online that it did. Turns out it's a spa that is a separate business onsite and guests have to pay $49 to go there. Even then it's a sauna and cold plunge. Great location though!"

"Honestly, probably one of my favourite all-around hotel experience. The one bedroom view suite with a king sized bed was beautiful and well-appointed. The lobby with the koi pond is stunning. Staff were friendly and attentive. The little breakfast place in the lobby was great - good food at a reasonable price. And the location is really convenient for getting to all the sights in downtown Victoria. We would definitely stay again."
