"The rooms are compact and modern but very clean attractively and cleverly layout. Very nice bathroom. Halls equally clean and modern as the lounge areas are. The breakfast looked great very fresh - good coffee , stylish flexible seating too. We would stay there again . "

"This hotel is not accessible-friendly. No ramp to get into hotel (only steps) and no bellman/porter outside to help with luggage. No restroom on ground floor (near restaurant); restrooms on next floor up are accessible only by going up/down approx. 5 stairs. Shower head was in an elevated and narrow bathtub. I usually chose Hiltons when traveling internationally because of common standards one expects from a Hilton hotel (useful power outlets, washcloths in bathrooms), but this hotel only had UK outlets, maybe one European outlet, and 1 USB outlet -- on the desk, not bedside). Just glad we decided to throw in our adapter at last minute for sister CPAP machine. We were here for a 2-night stay & on 2nd morning, construction work started in room next door at 7:30am. While hotel comped me 10K HHonor points and gave access to executive lounge, I would have preferred to sleep in and have a quiet morning (we only had an afternoon tour that day). They were unable to move us to another room because hotel was full, and we were not notified that construction work was going to be occurring. No washcloths. Breakfast buffet is expansive and wide variety. The F&B supervisor (Titus?) was exceptionally helpful in assisting my sister with gluten free options. While the hotel is conveniently located adjacent to Paddington train & metro stations, it is in a pretty sketchy part of town. We appreciated concierge's recommendation of a nearby Lebanese restaurant -- our first time eating at one. "

"I stayed here with my daughter for two nights. The location is excellent—right across from Paddington Station, making it very convenient for the Tube and the Heathrow Express. Our standard double room was a bit small, and there’s no restaurant in the hotel. However, the room was very clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful."

"Clean, comfortable enough. Small bathroom. It’s a big hotel, so there’s a wait for the elevator/lift when you’re on the 18th floor. Breakfast at 9 is chaos with hundreds of people. "

"Reception was helpful on arrival. I was asked what room I wanted and given a room that was quiet. As important it was cosy, clean and tidy, even had chocolates. The bed was comfy but not too soft and I had a good nights sleep. The Haxwell restaurant was good for fine dining, but for those with a bigger appetite might find it lacking portion wise, but there are plenty of restaurants too choose from on the doorstep. The hotel is well located for central locations and theatres either walking or a short taxi ride away. Compared to some, I found the room good value, just right for rest and relaxation. "

"The room was clean and the staff were pleasant. The bar staff confused a malt whisky with a gin but this was easily fixed. I didn’t have breakfast at the hotel but found an excellent range of options at cafes nearby"

"There is no elevator in this building and so you have to climb steep stairs to get to your room. Size of rooms are the size of a shoe box. Location is very handy for Paddington station - which is 3-5 minutes away on foot. This place is only appropriate if you’re travelling alone and with little or no luggage. Staff were not very attentive. I don’t know if this applies to all staff but certainly the two ladies I met at reception were more interested in their own conversation than assisting when I arrived. "
