"I loved being on the beach side, but the property needs some serious cleanup all around overgrown bushes, beach should be raked to pick up old leaves that fell, some rooms have no view of the water because of overgrown trees. But the water was beautiful."

"Room 24. Very old, beat up, rooms in need of a major refresh, repair. Hole on the floor of the room was patched up with a wooden board with a mat thrown over to cover up. Couches and upholstered chairs with stains on them we did not dare sit on or put any of our belongings on. Leak from the bathroom sink. Floor tiles cracked and chipped. Hair dryer not working. Mosquitoes (I guess this is common for island hotel rooms?) are an issue. Lots of stairs and no elevators. If you ok with all of this then it would be a bargain value. The only things keeping this from being a 1 star is the location (proximity to Main St. Charlotte Amalie), the nice staff, and the free breakfast."

"Wonderful hotel. Be prepared to take a taxi everywhere you want to go. You can use the sister hotel Buoy House next door. the staff is extremely friendly. Our room was spectacular and so was the view. I loved the infinity pool. "
