"Great hotel. Very popular with families. Bed was comfortable enough. House keeping of room was thorough. Breakfast was well run. Easy stroll into the heart of Peebles town. Amazing views across the hills. Very kind staff."

"Breakfast was excellent plenty of choice. We had issue with original room but staff eventually changed twin room to one I asked for ie king bed. Bedding clean but issue with room being cleaned (bed making,clean towels etc) Parking good"

"Great place as a base for exploring the Borders. Overall stay was good. Room was exceptionally clean(had a couple of minor niggles but these were dealt with happily and swiftly). Stayed in a double which was quite small (with only one bedside table). Would 'upgrade' to a larger room if staying again. The best thing about this hotel is the people and the outstanding service they provide-nothing too much trouble and so friendly. Ooh- and good food including a fab breakfast. "
