"Arriving around midnight after a long drive I was initially thankful there was someone there to open the door. Unfortunately it went downhill from there. My expectations were pretty low, all I wanted was a hot drink, a wash and a comfortable bed. Unfortunately there were no drink-making facilities, no towels, no pillows on the bed and only a dirty bar of soap with a previous guests whiskers stuck into it. "Family room was fantastic. Two superking beds plus a comfy camp bed. Fantastic. Excellent menu choices in the restaurant for dinner & the staff were really attentive & friendly. A couple of things to improve on…very limited vegan options for brekkie. Our daughter is dairy-free & butter was the only option to put on toast, no margarine etc. It’s a minor point but so easy to put right. "
