"Well this hotel falls far short of expectations. It is in a prime location opposite Windsor Castle. The reception area is tucked around the side on entry and not inviting. We had several problems with our room. Things not working and poor housekeeping. The over mirror lights not working were reported yesterday and still not working. The lift is not working either. Carpets are worn in several places despite not being open that long. Our room 218 is large and has a prime view to the castle. Overall this does not meet our expectations or offering value for money. The other chain hotels offer better facilities at a much lower cost. The owners need to review the management of this hotel to put this right"

"This is my second time staying here and has always been very good. It was still good, but I was disturbed alot by the neighbour next door talking incredibly loudly on his phone. Also, I would have liked to not receive an email the day before I am due to check out, asking me to check out online. I think it takes away from your experience of being away if it feels like the hotel is rushing you to check out. "

"It's a good hotel, rooms after average but very affordable which is great! I had a problem with the shower drain and i had to change rooms (not a disaster), and their air conditioning units are too old (remotes put off battery too). Overall it's a good hotel with very friendly and helpful staff, good parking lot and very quiet. Breakfast is continental (average) that is worth the price, children eat free!"

"A lovely old Inn in a beautiful little village. Our room in the main Inn was lovely - very quaint but tastefully decorated. Although the wooden floor looked very nice a carpet would have been more comfortable and less noisy! The bed and pillows were very comfortable. Breaskfst was very good and we ate in the restuarant in the evenings which was also very good. The staff were very good, even though they seemed to be juggling serving at the reception as well as waiting tables. Overall a wonderful stay."
