"This is a good apartment as it’s so close to Cardiff by road or train. It’s also very close to local shops and a 15 min walk to the lovely pier and beach. What the ad doesn’t tell you is the apartment is at the side of the train stop that runs every 15 minutes. We chose it as it had parking but again once we booked, it’s not suitable for a large vehicle which we have. The toilet seat in the en suite is too small for the toilet so went flying. We have friends in Penarth so was a good stay to...

"The hotel is right in the centre of Cardiff with a really nice bar area where you can sit outside in good weather. It has a nice atmosphere and Brown's restaurant serves very good food for dinner and breakfast. The room was not small, clean and the staff were friendly. The car park is very handy being attached to the hotel. I would deffinately recommend this hotel."

"We had a fantastic stay at the Celtic Manor, all the staff are well trained, polite, friendly & attentive. The hotel & grounds are stunning with a huge choice of bars & restaurants. "The hotel was excellent. From the moment I walked in, I was made to feel like a valued customer and nothing was too much trouble. The room had excellent facilities with tea/coffee and bathroom products supplied (and very amenable to getting any replacements). An additional perk was the free parking! Would highly recommend a stay here and would not hesitate to return."
