"Excellent property! Restaurants on site - and convenient to the Mucky Duck ect. Nice rooms - clean. This time we choose beach view and the sunsets were Gorgeous! Pool areas are nice . A little busy the week we went - Outside bars and food make a day at the pool enjoyable. Beach access is right across the st and you can rent chairs and umbrella for $25 A great place to just go and relax. Some days we didn’t even leave . Recommend the Shelling or Dolphin tour with Captiva Cruises as they are always fun "

"We really enjoyed our week stay. We were a bit surprised with the kitchen and main gathering areas on the 3rd floor but after being on the island, better understand the reasoning! Kitchen was pretty well equipped. Bedrooms with restrooms were really nice so each couple or single had their own bathroom. Thank you!! Shallys was very responsive. The lookout area was great for watching the sunset. Beautiful sunrises on the 3rd floor deck. No concerns!"

"We enjoyed our stay at this property. The location is great - short walk to the beach and shops. The house is clean and spacious with lots of room for a large group. The kitchen had most of the things one might need for cooking. There were plenty of beach towels and the beach chairs were a nice surprise. The pool and hot tub were really nice to have; just wish the hot tub stayed hot. We had to turn it on in the morning to get it warmed up for the day - not ideal if you want to use in the mornings. The water pressure could use some improvements and the hot water was very inconsistent. Attention to a few details would go a long way - providing a cooler to use at the beach, providing additional garbage bags to put in trash cans, fix the leaky sink. Communication was prompt. Overall this was a nice property given its proximity to the beach and shops."

"Grounds are under construction and renovation so it was busy with workers. Needed to navigate around construction vehicles and roped off work areas. That’s a temporary inconvenience. Booked a king bed room and given 2 queens so had to move. Used Google Maps for restaurants on the grounds to find out we needed to use the paper map handed to us. Beaches were fabulous! Lounge chairs and towels available at the beach for us all. Beach was clean. Restaurants off grounds were awesome and better priced. Sunset was awesome!!!"

"Beautiful location...right on the beach and easy to get around the island.The house needs some TLC...plantation shutters in master need to be fixed so they don't keep popping open. Seal around front door needs some help...these flying insects were getting through and had to go around killing at least two dozen. Ended up having to turn the front porch lite off and spraying Raid around the door. Ice maker did not work.The house is nice but very spartan in terms of amenities...including pillows for the couch.Suggest you stop at the local store and pick up some basics.Other than that, I would probably go back if they put some basic maintenance into the place."
