The host left a very helpful instructional booklet describing how to use all of the amenities, and even instructions on how to best prepare the food. "This is a unique property and a total throw back to another time (the main house is from the 1890s). The traditional kaiseki was impeccable, the breakfast was delicious, and the property is gorgeous. Added bonus: hot spring water is piped to your room bath! We had a wonderful weekend hiking and exploring the area (loved the Open Air Museum), and we have already talked about going back on our next trip to Japan. For those of you who know Mohonk in Upstate NY, Fujika evokes a similar vibe. Thank you to the staff! Highly recommend."
