The town of Rye was 10 mins by car and full of historical charm. It was even being used for filming while we visited. I would have given it 5 stars but unfortunately the mattress was too thin and I could feel the springs through it, so not very comfortable. A thicker more expensive mattress or at least a thick mattress topper. Would solve the issue. Central location in Staines Upon Thames, so super convenient. Would I stay here again, the answer is Yes. "

"Everything about this hotel is 5 star, the room, the bar, the staff, the breakfast. They are in the process of some renovations as well so there are some 'tired' areas but it looks like they will be refreshed soon."

"Excellent location. A few minutes from the station and about 10 minutes from the seafront. Clean room, comfortable bed and good shower. Good buffet breakfast. Pre-booked is slightly cheaper. The staff were very helpful and the reception always seemed to be open! Parking is not too far away, not hotel-owned, it is expensive, but that’s Brighton!"
