The room was excellent, well equipped, very comfortable with a first rate view from the balcony. The pool and Gym facilities were excellent, easy to use with fantastic staff. The only let down was the bar/restaurant area. The levels of noise from the assorted screens, the shouting and screaming was ridiculous. Ordering food was difficult as the app system was glitchy and talking to staff near impossible due to the noise levels. The menu sounds great, the reality somewhat different. The food was not upto the standard advertised and as such overpriced. Am Amazing Hotel well positioned with great facilities seriously let down by a sports bar and the mentality that comes with it, a real shame.

Clean, nicely decorated room. Very comfortable bed, excellent pillows, good quality floor coverings. Could have done with at least one chair. The building work detracts from the offering but at least that’s not permanent. The filtered water tap is a nice addition, as is the coffee pod machine. Only small downsides: too few towels, no sweeteners, only three hangers.

Everything superb, loved the room styling, newly refurbished feel, spotless clean. Top notch leisure facilities (could add poolside plant life and steam room scent maybe), gym full of new tech & choices with river view window. There was even a gym ball and mat in my club room. Very clean room and lovely big bed. Didn’t find WiFi password? Found the sports bar good but when sitting nearby couldn’t hear what was being said. Perhaps they need a proper quiet corner for family & friends to meet and chat. Would stay again and staff were lovely on reception. Found breakfast layout slightly trickier and didn’t flow for us. Saying all that would stay again. Had a lovely room with balcony and view of the river

Good location, only 10 minute walk to the train station. £5 to park for 24 hours which is a bargain! Room was spotless and minimalistic. Cool bar with a darts area too. Only stayed for one night so didn’t get to experience the pool. Starbucks is a bonus.

The room was lovely and bed supper comfy but then that would be expected as the room was expensive for what it was. Some biscuits with tea and coffee would have been nice. The toilet paper was very cheap quality which surprised me. Shower was fabulous and a good size. Tv was great quality and massive too. I hand the breakfast which was …’ok’ not bad but again quality was not great. Hash browns were not great at all a lacked flavour, texture and were like overcooked deep fried triangles of mash potato. Sausage were very very cheap and not really cooked very well. I could not believe (and was disappointed by) the fact they did not have any marmalade or raspberry jam. Coffee was great and the staff were very friendly too. A variety of teas would have been good. Alternative milk options seemed to not be an available either. I think a look at who supplies the food would be a good idea as it let the experience down rather.
