A mini wonderland

The place is fabulous with lots to see and gardens to explore. The restaurant views a lovely especially at sunset! And the Spa and treatments are wonderful! I strongly recommend the massages!

I was absolutely blown away by this hotel! I booked on Expedia and messaged the hotel directly, they were very responsive. I got an amazing, spacious room with great views of Bom Jesus de Monte. The rooms are spotless and the bedding is very comfortable. Breakfast was included, but it was extremely limited, so I stopped using it after day two. There’s no room service, but the restaurant attached to the hotel is lovely, with stunning views over Braga. The staff are very accommodating, and the spa area is clean and also offers beautiful views. All of this for quite an amazing price. I had very little expectation going in, but I was truly impressed! The only major downside was the air conditioning, despite setting it lower and lower (from 21°C down to 11°C), the room temperature stubbornly stayed at 25°C, which made it difficult to sleep.

On top of the world!

Very impressive location! On the top of the Bom Jesus, on top of the world! The restaurant was fabulous and the staff very friendly. I would definately stay here again.

O Hotel é muito bom, assim como o Spa. Os funcionários são extremamente simpáticos e prestáveis e o pequeno almoço é bom, com muita variedade. Não dou 5 estrelas porque o ar condicionado não funcionava, e o quarto esteve sempre muito quente. Tivemos que abrir as janelas para conter o problema.

A nossa estadia em casal correu muito bem no geral. As instalações são modernas e muito confortáveis, a recente piscina exterior tem uma vista fenomenal. Como pontos de melhoria, apontamos apenas a presença de uma única pessoa no serviço de pequeno almoço a fazer reposição, limpeza e preparação das mesas, pelo que sendo a sala mais pequena e acolhedora pode acabar por demorar a ter lugar disponível. Infelizmente, também encontrámos alguns dos serviços do Spa em manutenção pelo que não pudemos usufruir deles.

Maybe a ** star hotel

This hotel might was good 30 years ago. The locations is good for sightseeing but that's all. The hotel does not offer anything except a bed and a poor breakfast. When I arived I asked for a glass of wine, but they can not offer anything to drink or eat. At the evening I was hoping to have dinne at the hotel. But NO! Had to drive to the centre of Braga, btw is great, which take 20 minutes. Furhtermore the hotel is heavily parfumed and I discoverd the reason is to hide the smell from the mold. Will not even recommend this to anyone.

AVOID. This should be 2 star

2 star hotel BEWARE. This hotel is TERRIBLE, I dont know how hey got away with 4 star rating. The hotel room is dirty, floor rug is worn out and disgusting to walk on. Bed sheets are torn and stained after so many washes. The room feels like a monk cloister cell, it is small . The only positive is the location if you are visiting the Bom Jesus church .
