Clean, generously proportioned rooms retaining the original features of the old house/stable. We stayed in a premier room. It had its own terrace overlooking the courtyard. The courtyard is what really makes this hotel. A beautiful oasis in the city centre. Easy walking distance to the Roman remains. No restaurant on site but plenty to choose from in the many leafy squares surrounding the hotel. The hotel does cold plates, which we didn’t try. "
