"The room was clean. The staff were very good. The breakfast was iffy Most of the time they did not have bacon or corned beef. They never had bananas. They could use some shade on their outside deck. Overall it was very good and I would stay there again. "

"Marielle and Kim were the two welcoming smiles that greeted us the moment we arrived at Lavanya, and from that point on, we knew we had found something special. We loved it so much that we extended our stay twice—it truly felt like a home away from home. The entire staff was wonderful, and I will genuinely miss them all. The interns, in particular, completely stole our hearts, and the local kids are an absolute treasure. Being so far from home in the US and fully immersed in a different way of life was an unforgettable experience. The food was honestly incredible—fresh, delicious, and far beyond reasonably priced. Snorkeling right off the shore was easy and fun, adding to the magic of the place. Out of everywhere we stayed in the Philippines, Lavanya was our favorite. It’s more than just a place to stay—it’s a community, an experience, and a memory we’ll carry with us. We will absolutely be back—with our boys. 💙"
