Our room had a view of the river and this was so nice and relaxing. I would highly recommend. The hotel is in a very pleasant area along the river, but still relatively near (within walking distance) to the historic part of town. I would love to return.

Lovely, spacious studios in a really lovely quiet area of York- not too far to walk into the city. We enjoyed a croissant and coffee next to the river in the morning sun- really pleasant stay. Rooms were comfortable with lovely kitchen facilities- it was so nice to be able to have somewhere to prepare food. The staff were so helpful and friendly and the foyer area stocked basic foods for breakfast and snacks - lovely stay

Nice enough place with good clean rooms and a pleasant staff. Nature obscured our view of the river. Nicely situated within easy walking distance of central York. Breakfast was very disappointing as it consisted of plain croissants and machine coffee.

Great location with beautiful views! We loved the coffee machine and croissants in the morning. Our bed was comfortable and the bathroom was a great size. The whole room was large actually! The washer and dryer availability was SO helpful too. We were so glad to have air con (& lifts) as well. Having to use your key card for the lift was kind of annoying, but we got used to it. Overall excellent stay!

The room was a great size and had all of the things you expected. Happy to stay there again. Small note, if you pay for parking it fills up very fast so just know paying for a space is no guarantee of getting a space

One of the best hotels (maybe the actual best?) I’ve stayed in in the UK. It’s not fancy, but the room was large, new, clean, and very comfortable. Staff were just lovely and the location couldn’t have been more perfect. The croissants and coffee were a nice touch.

Great hotel in a good location right on the river only a short walk into town. Hotel has basic amenities but does sell some items in the foyer and the pastries in the morning fill a gap until you can head out for some food. Tea and coffee making facilities in your room which is quite roomy and has everything you need.

The room was more than adequate and having the kitchenette really made this place special. The location was superb and the laundry rooms were very helpful. The staff was friendly and quick to help you out. I would stay again if I ever find myself in this area.

Great hotel, and next to the river. We stayed in the loft suit with two teenagers. Lovely large 2 storey room, with balconys and good views. Really enjoyed our stay and will hopefully return again. Only negative is the limited choice of breakfast, the coffee machine was broken most of the time, but you could get a drink from reception and we are not a fan of just croissants.
