"Great glamping experience! Spacious and comfortable tent. Personal bathroom with shower. Great shared kitchen with small breakfast included. Lots of drinkable water included. Staff were very nice. Only one of the bikes in working condition and the rest were in desperate need of repair. Make sure to bring bug repellant. The pool was not as advertised, but fine. "Awesome family vacation over spring break. Loved the resort, food was good, and there was no shortage of things to do. Not enough hours in the day. Would definitely go back. The one downside was the A La Carte reservation booking system- our butler had a hard time getting using anywhere we wanted, on any day. And yet when we would go to another there were numerous empty tables, the restaurant would only be like half full. Odd. But we preferred the buffets with kids, anyway."

"We had a fabulous stay at Villa Lijeson. It was clean, air conditioning worked great, beds were very comfortable, everything was provided that we needed. To top it off, it was great to be able to walk out the door and have the pool right there. Highly recommend!"

"Food was great, property was clean, staff were helpful and kind, showers are fantastic, and we would go back with the following knowledge- Distance- this property is large and many rooms are a solid 1/2 mile walk to the main food and amenities. We had to get a new room for my 85 year old mother who could not walk that far. The rest of us just got blisters. Shuttles are available but wait is often more than 20 minutes. Staff worked hard to accommodate my mothers mobility limits Air conditioning- was substandard in buildings on top floor. A/C on first floor rooms seemed much more functional"

"We love this house. The layout is cozy, the pool is great, and having a snorkeling lagoon out back is great - especially in the mornings and late afternoons when you have the Yalku lagoon all to yourself. Isidro was a gracious host/cook and was eager to make sure we were taken care of. All the meals were delicious and the pricing is better than other local houses we have rented with a cook. We will definitely be renting here again."

"Que Onda was an outstanding property and we would love to return. The well maintained and beautiful garden contains a pool that is shared with only one other unit. It is an easy walk to Yalku lagoon as well as the reef on Half Moon Bay, or a short bike ride into Akumal. Bikes and snorkeling gear are available for guest use. The unit itself is simply gorgeous and the pictures don't do it justice. Note that the Master bedroom is on the 3rd (US definition) floor, but the view from the master patio is well worth it. We were up early each morning to listen to the bird song and watch as the sun rose over the jungle, with peekaboo views of the water. The owners live on site and are so kind and responsive and we truly enjoyed getting to visit with them. Their new undertaking, a small bakery with sourdough bread, pastries and other goodies, was such incredible treat. All of our meals were outside in the garden, which was so lovely and peaceful. We spent 10 days driving around the Yucatan peninsula, taking in as much as we could, but it was Que Onda that we will dream of returning to. "

"We loved everything about this lovely house! Having private access to Yal-Ku Lagoon is amazing. And the pool and the large palapa are terrific. We especially loved the local wildlife that walks through the yard- so cool! It’s a short two minute walk to the new bakery at Que Onda (we had hot sourdough every morning)- icing on the cake. Highly recommend renting a golf cart- it made getting around so much fun. "
