"This hotel is the goal standard. Management from other hotels should come and visit it. From beginning to end the service engagement with well informed and genuinely welcoming. It’s a very interesting historical setting. When they say they are dog friendly, they genuinely are. "

"Everything about this hotel is 5 star, the room, the bar, the staff, the breakfast. They are in the process of some renovations as well so there are some 'tired' areas but it looks like they will be refreshed soon."

"Excellent location. A few minutes from the station and about 10 minutes from the seafront. Clean room, comfortable bed and good shower. Good buffet breakfast. Pre-booked is slightly cheaper. The staff were very helpful and the reception always seemed to be open! Parking is not too far away, not hotel-owned, it is expensive, but that’s Brighton!"
