"Location not THE best but it worked for the time being."

"I love the hostel. It is right next to the Atocha train station (there is a back route to the train station to avoid the busy intersection). I stayed at a dorm for four women. Room is clean and quiet (4th floor). The bed is steady with two USA plugs and personal light), which is very convenient details. The staff were very nice and helpful. I left for Toledo for one night and had difficulty locating a storage place. Luis and Milien were very helpful to allow me to store my luggage overnight for free that I don’t have to haul my luggage away and back for another two nights. That was huge help. One thing concerning is the lock. One morning when I was to leave and found out the door is not locked after the previous one left. I studied the lock and found out that the bolt is quite sensitive that it popped after the door touches the frame but not fully closed quickly, which ended up stop the door from being fully closed. It might help to remind all guests to pull the dock quickly and firmly to make sure the door is fully locked before they leave. Other than that, my Latroupe Prado stay had been great. I have two more nights. Hopefully they are as great!!"

"My wife and daughter stayed for one night and took the shuttle to the airport. The driver over-stacked the luggage and the shuttle was packed so they had to stand next to the luggage area. The driving was reckless and some suitcases fell on my wife’s back and neck. She got injured and was felt dizzy a while after. Better and safer driving is for sure necessary. Also more shuttles need to arranged so that guests do not have to stand."

"Our stay was unfortunately disappointing overall. While the room itself was clean, the walls were extremely thin and noise was a major issue during our stay. There appeared to be a school group staying at the hotel and there was constant door slamming, yelling, and loud music late into the night into the morning, making it very difficult to sleep. We also ran out of toilet paper and the room phone wasn’t working, so contacting the lobby was frustrating. The hotel may be fine for a quick stay, but based on our experience, it was not the relaxing or comfortable stay we were hoping for before our flight home. Hotel to the airport was only a 10min drive so that was super convenient which is why we booked this hotel."
