Great hotel, the pool was fantastic for spending the hot afternoons!
Bedrooms could do with cooler air conditioning and more plug sockets, but great hotel otherwise and will stay here again
(Be aware that a sizeable deposit - 400€ in our case - is charged at check in, but our pending credit charge was updated within an hour of checking out)
Only given this one a three star rating because the air conditioning was really poor in our room. It was working but the temperature in the room was still high. We stayed in the August heatwave and ended up purchasing cooling blankets and fans. The location was great, the gardens it adjoins are beautiful! The parking was great, but quite tight, lots of pillars! It was only that we went when Toulouse was so hot and we couldn’t sleep with the heat that we have marked this hotel down.
Lovely stay during the May heatwave at this hotel. The hotel reception is chic and staff friendly particularly Victoria who gave us lots of advice on walks and local points of interest as well as serving drinks and sorting breakfast.
The only downside was the air conditioning that couldn’t cope with the 35 degree days but the fresh pool overlooking the Japanese gardens was just what was needed after mornings sightseeing.
A lovely stay for a great price and thank you Victoria and all of the rest of the staff for making our stay special.
Reception and other staff were polite and welcoming in all interactions. Room was clean but the toilet (with no sink) was in a separate room to the shower (with sink). This bewildered and confused me, but is apparently normal in France.
Breakfast buffet was ok. It wasn't anything particularly special. I think I'd have preferred to have no breakfast at hotel and gone to a local cafe or bakery instead to get a more authentic experience.
The swimming pool was quite busy given the hot weather. Open 9am to 9pm.
The bus to and from the airport stops at the main road which is very close to the hotel. It is very convenient, bus is air conditioned and I would recommend taking it. Being on the airport bus route makes this hotel well located.
Considering everything, I would rate my stay at the Novotel, Toulouse a very satisfying one. The staff were very accommodating and incredibly friendly ( kudos to Kevin, Luca and Ryan ).The room was spacious, spotless, and comfortable and crisp bed sheets too!The metro is very accessible from this location-just 2 stops to the city center. Only minor issues were the pillows being too small and the quality of some of the furnishings was a bit chintzy to my liking-but that's a personal preference🙏♥️👍
Return visit to this establishment .
Located out of town but easy access by public transport.

Limited towels. They suggest maid service every two days. Paper cups for coffee?? Very limited lighting to try and read a book in bed. Nice location by a park area though.

A fairly tired Novotel. Main bar and restaurant nicely done but dated rooms with tiny showers and No desk or usable chair to work on the room if required.
Fitness suite basically an old bedroom with a bike in it not really 4* experience.
Otherwise usual expected too amenities.
Quiet location by the a park is a bonus although general exterior area feels a bit run down.

Staff were ALL very nice and accommodating.
The hotel does need a concierge to assist visitors with questions about the area and with helping set up activities.
Our room was overly warm even with the AC turn down to the coldest it would go. We had to ask for a fan. The bathroom sink stopper would not stay in the open position and the water did not drain well. Just washing your hands could cause an overflow.
Our room did not have a desk or chair; just a bed and a single couch. I guess they did not have them because the room was too small. I know that other rooms had desks and chairs. All the rooms were booked so we were out of luck to change rooms. When I asked for a small portable desk and chair so that we can do some work in the room (we had to do confidential online meetings) , we were told that this was not possible. While I was kindly discussing our options with one receptionist, another one came and acted all weird. She was rather rude. So I gave up discussing our options as it was no use. We ended up staying there, but it was not a good experience. On top of this, the restaurant was not at all accommodating for dietary restrictions. This is not surprising in France, as they don’t understand the concept of dietary restrictions in most places outside Paris, but I was expecting at least some effort. Nothing was offered. Breakfast was also rather poor. In the land of cheese, they had only one type that was not particularly good. We ended up skipping the breakfast even though we paid for it as part of the room cost. Perhaps others had better experience with this hotel, but we thought we made a mistake. We chose it because it was close to the convention center, but we should have stayed near the center of the city where all the action takes place. This location is rather far to the good restaurants, etc. Overall, we did not have a great experience.
Ran out of vodka on the Thursday night still didn’t have any on Saturday night .wife not happy as all she drinks is vodka and coke. Could not believe you can’t get a drink from the bar after 10-30 pm on Saturday night 🙁🙁🙁

Hotel not a 4 star but in nice grounds and in a good position. Staff were very unfriendly would not serve drinks after 11pm. Breakfast not worth the money
