Great location, less than a 10-minute walk from Takayama Station. Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The hotel has two public onsens, which were wonderful after a day of sightseeing. We also enjoyed a delicious kaiseki dinner. Highly recommend Takayama Green Hotel for a comfortable and relaxing stay in Takayama!

The room was spacious with twin beds and a sitting area. The hotel was clean but dated. It could use a refresh. The onsen was amazing and service was friendly!

The onsen was nice and clean with friendly staff. The location was a bit away from the old town and hiking trail. A nice hotel. The food was not as nice as the onsen and Roikan we stayed at in Nikki, hence the 4 stars.

Staff very helpful Onsen was very busy but we enjoyed it. Breakfast was okay . I found the buffet dinner very nice Drinks were a little expensive Could have have had a bar area for the evening .

This is a large sprawling hotel with a relatively new addition block (2020) I think, in which we had a very nice room looking out onto the wide open area and above the large car and coach parking area. The Hotel appears to cater mostly to Bus tour operators with these arriving and departing daily. The staff were mostly really nice and helpful, we used the outdoor Onsen pool which was great, there were others to choose also. Didn’t have the breakfast in the hotel so can’t comment. The shuttle bus starts running to the train & bus stations at 8:00am which we found very strange, usually a hotel this size would have it running 24hrs or at least from 6am. The hotel is so large unfamiliar guests can easily get lost or not know where to find the different areas. Nice hotel and I’d stay again if ever in Takayama.

An amazing hotel with everything you could possibly want. The perfect mixture of comfort and convenience - even has a karaoke room and souvenir shop! We loved our stay.

Nice hotel onsen, clean and tidy. However lacks character and is sprawled over multiple buildings (all of which are architecturally quite ugly). Average breakfast buffet.

The room is clean. The toilet and bathroom are in separate rooms which is good. Hotel staff is very helpful when we asked for information. Ample parking space but chargeable at 1000Yen per day.

Room was very nice and spacious and feels luxurious and comfortable. Buffets were nice and had a lot of selections. I was not overly impressed with the Hida beef but it is a personal choice thing. Staff is mostly young friendly gracious people. Buffets are a combination of Japanese and western cuisine. Gift shop is very big. Would stay here again
