Hotel Marul is located in Split just steps from Old town. Parking is available in the nearby parking lot, but navigating to it was very tricky, took a while and asking locals. Parking fee is covered by hotel. Very good breakfast with natural fresh juices you can do yourself from the fruits and carrot of your choice, coffee, pastry, cheese, eggs made to order. Restaurant is in the garden, pleasant isolated location fenced from the streets around. We have not tried eating dinner. Staff is helpful, rooms have space, bathroom clean. We are happy with out stay.

Hotel Marul is in a great location, just a short walk from Split’s Old Town, the Riva, and plenty of restaurants. Parking can be a bit challenging, but the rooms are clean, the staff are friendly, and it’s a solid choice if you want to explore the city on foot.

Great location, just a few minutes walk to the main parts of tourist Split. The hotel is peaceful, the garden is a lovely spot for breakfast, and as mentioned in other reviews, the eggs are good! My room was a good size, it had a clean bathroom, and aircon, which was very necessary as I was there during a heatwave. If I came to Split again I’d definitely stay here again.

Det var meget kort ophold for vores vedkommende og den var virkelig guld værd. Meget venlig personale fra top til tå. Især tjenerne som var rigtig gode til at hente ekstra tallerkener til børnene og spurgte om de ville have pandekager.. de tog lidt stresset af os :-)

Unfriendly staff. The attic room is not well kept. We kept hurting our heads on the slanted walls several times . We brought this to the staff s attention . She got us with the manager who spoke to us so rude and didn’t even try to accommodate us. We reached the night and had booked and paid for 2 nights superior room. The manager instead told us to get out and find another hotel. We were so tired with the long flight and had to make arrangements elsewhere. I paid full price for the booking. Bad customer service and no help or staff available at the hotel to help out. Carpet had lots of stain too. Would not recommend this hotel.

Perfect location just steps outside the walled city! Clean comfortable room with European garden outside. Lovely breakfast to start your day. The staff is very helpful and kind... just a lovely place to rest during travel. We will definitely recommend and stay again when in Split.

Lovely boutique hotel easy to catch Ubers from the back door and be in the center of town from the front door (shops, restaurants, near palace walls, water 5 min walk). Perfect split location. Quiet section. Safe. Staff helpful and always available. Super clean charming hotel. Good deal.

The hotel has a great location, within a very short walk of the old town. The hotel garden is pretty and was a wonderful location for a plein air breakfast. The city, of course, is absolutely wonderful. I would heartily recommend both hotel and city!

Staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast is hot and plentiful with excellent, robust coffee! Location is only a few minutes' walk from Diocletian's palace. Shower is spacious and the floor is very grippy.
