"Sossusvlei lodge was fantastic. Rooms, food and staff all excellent. A few problems like know WiFi in your room the only connection was at the bar. Breakfast and Dinner both start at 7am/7pm an earlier b/fast would be good for early starters."

"The property was absolutely beautiful, well run and staff were great, the rooms are stunning. My issue wasn’t with the property but with the map on Expedia, it implies the property is very near the entrance to the park and the dot was not in the right place, it was a very long and dust road! So we were a little disappointed on the way there but we were happy when we eventually got there. If I’d known where it was when I booked this wouldn’t have bothered us"

Kwessi Dunes

10/10 Excellent
"There are beautiful places in the world — and then there is Kwessi Dunes. Set against the vast, awe-inspiring landscape near Sossusvlei and Deadvlei, this lodge is something truly special. Being greeted by zebras when we arrived felt like stepping into a dream. The property itself is stunning, but it’s the people who make it unforgettable. The staff are extraordinary. And Papa G, our guide, brought every experience to life with his depth of knowledge and genuine love for Namibia. Quad biking over the dunes, exploring Sossusvlei, relaxing with incredible massages — every moment felt perfect. At night, the stars shine brighter than I’ve ever seen. Sleeping under the open sky in the outdoor bed is something everyone should experience at least once. We got engaged here. That alone says everything. Kwessi Dunes will forever hold a piece of my heart. Thank you to the team for creating something so magical. We will be back."

"We started off our Namibia trip here and had such a wonderful time! Hilton, Revival, Timothy and the rest of the staff were so friendly, welcoming, helpful and patient. The property itself is so stunning and serene— the way it is decorated and its architecture is so impressive and it feels as if you traveled back to the early 20th century. We did the film by the pool and had such an incredible view of the stars. The food was delicious, the views were incredible. Definitely worth the long drive there!"
