"Updated motel. The owner, Retro Rob, was very helpful with places to eat and hikes to take. Room was clean. Pool area was nicely landscaped, lots of seating, and beach towels to use. Fire pit area, basketball hoop, shuffle board. Motel is on the main road and convenient. Biggby coffee shop right down the street. "

"Very clean and quiet. Location was great in terms of proximity to Saugatuck, Douglas, Holland, and Saugatuck Dunes State Park. We used the pool/hot tub every night and it was surprisingly empty (most people are probably at the beaches or Lake.) Would definitely recommend or stay there again!"

"The apartment was nicely decorated and clean. The driveway to the two upper parking spaces was a little scary at first--steep, and hard to see if there are any cars parked there before you commit, and can't see over the edge when you're headed back down. But I got used to it after a couple times. The place was quiet, and the patio near the upper pool is a nice place to sit to watch the water. A convenient and quick drive to the beach/lake. The internet shut off in the morning on the TV, etc...

"We stayed in the Dixie cottage. It was very nice and clean. The grounds were beautiful and well kept. The pool and hot tub was great. We had a nice continental breakfast every morning. If you like to walk it is in walking distance to downtown Saugatuck. We had a great time. "
