"It's a utilitarian type of room...works for a quick night's sleep"

"I never leave reviews but I was so frustrated by my experience here. Came into the room and there were roaches. Checked sheets for bed bugs and and there were stains on the sheets. Immediately went back to reception and said I was leaving. Lady at the desk was kind and offered to change my room but I said I didn’t feel comfortable staying at any room, there could be roaches in other rooms. She said there were no refunds. They trap you by making you sign a paper that says no refunds so you lose your money after only going into the room for a moment and finding it gross and infested with bugs. Bad business practice. "

"Hotel is very beautiful and unique. Vallet parking was great. Restaurant waiter was inappropriate at times, front desk people were not very friendly and welcoming. Over all it’s worth to stay here for the history of its building and pool/spa was wonderful."
