"Good stay for what we needed. Bed was not too comfortable but the hotel is clean, safe and a great location. Breakfast was included and was very good. If you need to get to T2, T3 or T5 you will probably want to pay for the shuttle bus (7 euros). Overall very good."

"The check in was fast and informative. Room was very clean and was cleaned every day of our stay. Visited the bar one night for some food and drinks with great service from staff. I recommend this hotel if travelling through Heathrow. It was convenient to catch the Underground for a day visit to central London."

"I did not receive a pleasant welcome when I checked in! The receptionist started by Hello, checking in! The usual standard as far as I know is: Hello, how are you! Welcome to Copthorne Tara. Then she asked me to go to the next receptionist her colleague and I was just standing there, and her colleague was looking at her and me because he was not sure what was going on. Then she asked me to come back. It was nice of her to toss me back and forth. However it seems she was a bit under pressure but no matter what, guests should be greeted with courtesy. I work in the healthcare sector and attend to over a thousand patients and always have a smile on my face. Then on Saturday Morning, I was woken up with a loud banging noise from the 9th or 10th floor and it was pounding on my head. This noise went on for a while till I checked out. I would expect that if construction works were to be carried out then guests need to be informed ahead, but unfortunately this did not happen. I am quite frustrated and did not enjoy my stay. This is actually my 3rd or 4th visit to the hotel of which I did not have previous issues. But this last visit was not good."

"The reception and dinning areas were modern and well kept but the rooms are dated. They were clean but definitely need modernising as it was just looking a bit tired. Fantastic breakfast and comfortable beds."
