"I was very skeptical about staying here after reading all of the bad reviews. The first day was a little rough. But we really enjoyed our stay here. There were free unlimited water bottles our entire stay. The breakfast server and pool server was phenomenal. They made the stay so much better. Keep in mind there are certain hours for the pool bar (10am-5pm). The food was absolutely delicious, very flavorful. The drinks were even better! And very good coffee in the morning. The towels and the cabanas by the pool were free. Keep in mind that they don’t really have a beach. It’s mainly the pool that looks over the beach. A very gorgeous view. The pool was very clean, only down fall, there were tons of broken tiles. But you can tell the workers do the best they can to keep the resort nice and clean. The only negative I would have to say is the air in the rooms doesn’t work that great. And the humidity is horrible. There was sweat on the mirrors, our cups, the walls, the windows, on everything. Our swimsuits would not dry inside of the room. Only outside on the patio. The bed sheets constantly felt wet, that part I hated. Besides the humidity in the room and the ac not working that well we had a great stay. Very small intimate resort, my partner and I really enjoyed that part. Overall we really enjoyed ourselves. "

"It was more than we expected. The staff was amazing! So warm and friendly! They really went above and beyond for my birthday. Our beach front room was great. We loved that you didn’t need reservations for the nice restaurants. The food was amazing! The breakfast and lunch buffets were so high end but the gala buffet is not to be missed!!!! We ate at the French restaurant, Italian, steak house, gala buffet and did room service one night… all top notch. Ruben was our butler, I can’t say enough nice things about him. Always available and ready to help. Aristedes and Freddy were great, Fatima and Ana were our evening staff so great! Luis at concierge was terrific. He gave us great tips and arranged for us to go into town. Mala at the pool was so fun always offering fun things to do! Spa was so beautiful. I had a great salt scrub and massage with Alejandra. Only criticism was don’t hit me up for a review on spa services the second I come out of an 80 min massage. Do that when checking out of the spa later. We will be back this was so worth the money, it was beautiful, and the food was unbelievable"

"As avid travelers, we can appreciate a great experience. This was hands down the best all-inclusive we have ever been to. Everything was spotless, the service was impeccable and the staff was super friendly: Omar, Miguel, Anturo, Joanna, Pedro, Carmen, Gabriella, to name a few. The restaurants and servers were all fantastic. Seriously didn’t have one bad meal nor one bad server. They are attentive and want to make great memories for you. Already planning to be back."

"If you’re a local or from mexico and you love the water sport they offer and you own a car /rent this is a great hotel for you. This is not a hotel for tourists at all. No one here knows any English which is fine and makes sense as I am in mexico but to try and explain that they are false advertising a hotel by lying on the hotel post is incredibly hard. There is no pool, no hot tub, the rooftop patio is totally abandoned with nothing on it there is no gym that I could find and you are extremely far from ANYTHING. There is no security at the front “gate” if you you could call it that and the first few nights I believe I was the only person staying in the hotel so after 5pm all the staff would leave and I believe I was the only person on the entire property. It’s unfortunate because everyone was “nice” and patient with me but I was always thinking about how they know they are false advertising this place and really tricked me I only stayed 3 nights out of 6 nights with no refund for the nights I didn’t stay as they wont reply to Expedia If you stay for a couple nights the room was great AC, tv, wifi and everything else works AMAZING it was actually a very nice room and very private/quiet almost spooky quiet at night with just the animals. The food is a little expensive but i would skip the breakfast and go for the lunch it was really great. IMPORTANT stop for food before arriving especially if it’s after 5PM you will be taking a taxi of $20 or more Stay in Playa Del "

"The resort was amazing. All the staff were super kind and very helpful. The food was pretty good. My favorite was the Yacht Club. They had something to do every day and night! Anything we wanted/needed, all we had to do was ask."
