The place was perfect in every way. My aunt and I felt like we were at home thanks to the personal touches. We were given complimentary rum punch, breakfast on the rooftop each morning, a clean, beautiful room with a veranda. They paid for us to swim at a beach resort since we couldn’t swim in the sea. The staff warm and inviting. Great places to eat were within walking distance. This gem was a 10.!

Nice property with friendly and courteous front desk staff. Good breakfast and room service. Only problem is the owner/ proprietor was quite abrasive in her interactions. Yes, the reservation did not accurately reflect the correct number of guests due to some last minute change of plans. However, it was an easy fix, but she made more of it than was necessary. To be in the hospitality business, you must be able to pivot and accommodate your guests without a whole lot of complaining and attitude. Would have been a lower rating, but my daughter and her friends enjoyed their stay.

I have stayed at several places within the village and I must say Nirvana is my top choice now. The location couldn’t be any more perfect, beach was clean and beach chairs with umbrellas were provided. Kayaks and paddle board were also available. As far as the rooms, they were very clean and comfortable and had touches/amenities that made it feel resort like. To top it off, the staff was just so amazing and friendly. Really couldn’t have been a better stay. Looking forward to booking the Belizean Nirvana again!

Evan was at the Placencia airport waiting for us when we arrived. He took the time to drive us down the main street in Placencia before dropping us off at the sidewalk where another staff member was to take our luggage and walk us to the hotel. Everyone was so kind. The room was very clean and the view was spectacular. Right on the beach. The hotel is very conveniently located near many restaurants, coffee shops, and shops. The hotel also pays for a pool pass at the Placencia Beach Club during the time that the sargassum is heavy on the beach. Someone cleans up the seaweed regularly though. Sitting on the balcony, drinking coffee (also provided by the hotel) in the mornings was picture perfect. We were only at the hotel for breakfast to be served once. They had eggs and waffles, along with fruit, coffee, juice, cereal (I may be forgetting something). Breakfast was brought to our room the evening before for the next day when we had tours planned that left before breakfast time. Our stay was so perfect! I highly recommend and hope I can go back soon!!

Me and my wife had a great experience at the Belizean Nirvana. The apartment had everything that you could ask for or need. The staff were attentive to all or our needs. The grounds were well kept with scenic views of the ocean. Would definitely return and refer family and friends that travel to Placencia.

We stayed in the Namaste Room (upper level, ocean view, 2 hammocks, comfortable seating). It was wonderful. Breakfast was perfect and appreciated. We stayed for 3 nights. Levi helped us with our luggage from the main street down the sidewalk - and drove us to our next hotel in the village. Owners were very responsive to messages. Highly recommend.

Perfect location on the beach and just off the Placencia sidewalk. Very clean, comfortable bed, spacious area inside and on the patio. The staff is great and were always very accommodating. We will definitely stay here again.

A perfect stay. It’s not like the Belizean Nirvana needs another glowing review but it does deserve one! The attention to detail is remarkable. The extras really set it apart- kayaks, bikes, hammock for the deck, breakfast, shuttle, loungers for the beach, coffee, beach towels etc, etc. You won’t regret your decision to stay here. Just promise not to take my week next year!

A Belizean Nirvana is exactly that: nirvana. It’s an amazing gem that does everything right, and the care that the owners put into it shines in every detail. The location can’t be beat — right on the water and in the heart of Placencia, surrounded by great restaurants and things to do. Extremely comfortable and spacious room. And we loved that on the mornings when we had tours and had to leave before breakfast started, we could arrange to have breakfast delivered to our room the night before.

Well thought out Our little "apartment" had EVERYTHING we could ask for and more. Even Bandaids for my poor little toes ....skinned while trying to paddleboard. Lol 😆 worth it!!! Everyone is just wonderful ❤️

Belizean Nirvana was incredible from start to finish. The staff were some of the kindest, most genuine people we’ve ever met — every little detail felt personal and thoughtful. The room was spotless, beautifully kept, and they even surprised us with flowers on the bed for our anniversary, which was such a sweet touch. Everything about the stay was amazing — the location, the vibe, the service. The only downside was that we only booked two nights. We could’ve easily stayed a week. Can’t wait to come back.

We stayed at Belizean Nirvana for 4 nights in October 2025. This boutique hotel is located directly on the beach, and the views from our room were stunning- so much so that we woke up early to watch the sunrise over the water each morning. Our room felt more like a well-appointed condo than a typical hotel room. It had a separate living room and bedroom, two full bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen with granite countertops, and beautiful wood accents throughout. The added bonus of a water purification system was appreciated, and the oversized jet tub in the bathroom was a relaxing treat (used it twice!). The staff did a great job keeping the beach clean and free of seaweed. Breakfast was served on the rooftop from 8:30–9:30 a.m., but since we had early excursions, they thoughtfully delivered breakfast to our room the night before—such a nice option! The location is ideal: central and walkable to plenty of restaurants, the pier, and most excursion departure points. While there’s no on-site parking (which seems common for beachfront properties in the area), Belizean Nirvana offers free parking in a private lot just a 3 minute walk away. Staff made arrival easy by meeting us to drop off our luggage before parking. Other thoughtful amenities included beach towels, a welcome drink of rum punch, and overall helpful, friendly service. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing, well-located, and comfortable beachfront stay in Placencia.
