Staff were very friendly and welcoming. No elevator so we were put on the 3rd floor since we are over 65. Bed smelt bad so I slept on top, too late at that stage to ask to be moved. Breakfast was toast and jams and coffee sachets, but the 7-11 is part of the hotel and they serve good coffee. Across the road, the usual deck chairs and umbrellas for hire but along here is a sea wall and no beach. Several food vendors and further on a covered street food market and open market with some piers and walks. The main beach is a mile or so to the south and very congested. To the north, several temples and a good view site with monkeys.

Misrepresentation esentation

I booked a superior room with city view. My room had no view as it had no window. My booking included breakfast but they tried to charge 100 baht for rice. I couldn't check my booking because the hotel WiFi didn't work in the room and only periodically in the lobby. Also on the website it said it was connected to a shopping centre. It was next door to a 7eleven. This is a disgraceful misrepresentation. The staff were not particularly helpful. It would have been nice on check out if they had asked if I needed a taxi. Or was I going to the bus station. The hotel was not exactly bad but it was not as described on the hotels.com booking site. I just wish hotels wouldn't mislead guests at the time of booking.

NÃĨ hotellet valdes utifrÃĨn lÃĪge och det var helt rÃĪtt. RÃĪtt var ÃĪven piccolon som var mycket trevlig och hjÃĪlpsam. Plus ÃĪven fÃķr att en (enkel) frukost ingick, vilket inte framgick vid bokningen, sÃĨ vi har beredda pÃĨ att hitta frukost pÃĨ annat vid. Tex pÃĨ 7-11 som ligger vÃĪgg i vÃĪgg vilket ÃĪr ett plus ÃĪndÃĨ. SÃĪmre var badrummet, rÃĪtt rent iofs men dusch utan skynke, vÃĪgg eller ens utrymme var sÃĨ dÃĪr. Inte heller nÃĨgon vattenkokare och fÃķrstÃĨs stenhÃĨrd sÃĪng. Ett av de digitala lÃĨsen pÃĨ dÃķrren var inte heller samarbetsvilligt. Riktigt dÃĨligt var att det engagerade 5 receptionister att hitta var andra bokning. Och att de skulle veta nÃĪr vi bokade och allt mÃķjligt i stÃĪllet fÃķr att bara lÃķsa det. Jag hade ju med mig bokningsbekrÃĪftelse och kvitto.
