"A nice room, which clean and tidy. The WiFi was a little patchy but on the whole another nice stay at this hotel"

"We were not informed of the internet password. We did not have any hotel information available as it transpires the info booklets were behind ghe reception desk. We also tried to walk into the town but could not because the gate is coded. We did not know this prior to walking as we had no info. The radiator in the bathroom was scolding hot. We did advise reception and supposedly it was repaired. Sadly it was not .. we slept with three windows open and two fans running all night! Interestingly there was no bedside light these are being “phased out”. Also our room was not serviced because we had not hung the service room sign on the outside handle. What sign ? The individual staff were very pleasant but somehow the hotel assume the guests are mind readers. I’ve never stayed anywhere quite like it. "

"Perfect in every way. Beautiful location. Excellent rooms. Easy/plentiful parking. Attentive staff/service. Used the free shuttle bus into Salcombe which was an excellent addition. The food was delicious."

"The staff are very welcoming. The food was very nice and surprisingly not expensive. The bed was very comfortable. The internet was strong. All areas of the hotel seemed very clean. The only negative I can think of, is the carpet and the bathroom in the bedroom was a little dated but very clean. "
