Loved the location directly opposite Livermead beach. Beautifully presented hotel. Enjoyed sipping drinks at the roof top terrace watching the sunset. Delicious breakfast and very comfortable bed, made for a fabulous stay. Would definitely recommend to others looking to visit Torbay and the English Riveria.

We had a lovely 3 day stay here. Staff were brilliant, very welcoming and helpful . The Hotel had a lovely feel about it and our room was lovely with everything we could need. Everywhere was clean, breakfast was amazing. Really great stay and would highly recommend.

A lovely, fresh and clean hotel with friendly staff. The rooms are neat and kept to a high standard, the decor is just what you want being by the sea. There were some lovely unexpected touches too, like a Nespresso machine and chocolates in the fridge. Overall a really nice stay :)

Beautiful from top to bottom - wonderful extras like fresh milk in the fridge, a chocolate treat and great coffee. All staff were amazing - so friendly and welcoming and genuinely kind. We have already recommended Hotel indigo to our friends - just a shame that we were only staying one night!

From the moment we entered the Hotel Indigo Torquay, we knew that our money was very-well spent. The staff, especially Isabelle at the front desk and Jackie in the breakfast room, were over-the-top in service and helpfulness. Every staff member, including the hotel manager, treated us in a friendly personal manner with a very high degree of professionalism. The view from our large super comfortable room was picturesque, overlooking a rocky cove on the English Channel. The breakfast was well-prepared and sumptuous, a served hot meal and a buffet of fruit, cheese, bread (including our favorite, croissants), cereal, yogurt and pastries. We had two very good dinners in their restaurant on nights we did not feel like going out. I would very highly recommend this hotel.

This is a brand new hotel so the facilities were lovely. Our seaview room was wonderful, with its large picture window allowing an uninterrupted view of the bay. We asked for a 2nd chair for our spacious double room and it was quickly brought. I think this should be standard. The restaurant food was excellent, though somewhat expensive. All staff members were polite, friendly and helpful. We very much enjoyed our short break.

Hotel reception was not well sign posted from outside, first thing you see is an underground car park. Check in was straight forward, once we located reception, which is up a staircase. Staff were helpful. Hotel is new and well equipped. White fluffy dressing gowns and slippers in the room. Mini bar has coke, milk, water and chocolate inside. Coffee machine is a great touch. The bathroom has lovely smelling toiletries. Spotlessly clean, I would definitely recommend this hotel and stay again, once we found our way in!

Wow what a setting. I know it’s only been open for 6 weeks but it is an amazing hotel. Sea view room and the whole room was amazing, huge bed which was so comfortable. Staff were so helpful and polite and the breakfast was amazing. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone and we will stay there again. Nigel White

The hotel and room were clean but upon arrival at the designated check in at 3pm the room wasn’t available due to being cleaned and we had to wait until 420pm to gain access to the room. One issue - The room was very cold upon arrival meaning air con was fully functional and cool (outside temp was 26/27degrees), we went out for the evening and upon returning the air con had been deactivated at the central panel (outside temp was still 20C) so we called reception asking for air con to be looked at, they sent somebody up who advised it had been sorted, it was still too warm but decided to go to sleep with it switched off and sort in morning. When we woke the heat was increasing again to 27C so called reception and they said it would be resolved, again sending somebody to look at it and saying it was resolved but it wasn’t working still. All other services in the hotel were very nice and staff were pleasant but for the temperatures it was a shame the air con was out of use. Breakfast was very nice and staff were very helpful apart from aforementioned air con.

Everything was excellent: the hotel has a modern and stylish design, the room was clean, comfortable and well thought out, and the overall atmosphere was very pleasant and relaxing. The staff were friendly, professional and attentive. A special mention goes to the shared/public toilets – they are simply luxury level: extremely clean, beautifully designed, with high-quality finishes and a real feeling of comfort. The location is excellent, with beautiful views and easy access to the seaside, which made our stay even more enjoyable. We had a wonderful time and would highly recommend this hotel. We would be very happy to stay here again.

The hotel is very new so all the open facilities were in perfect state. Staff are all new and motivated, if not fully trained. All were very keen to serve thier customers. The hotel affords great views over Torbay from the main restaurants, bars and space by lifts. We did not have a seaview room so looked over the railway and neighbours gardens. Our room was well furnished and decorated including a small fridge and coffee machine. It would be nice to have a second chair given it is a double room.

I would have given mores stars if the breakfast experience had been better. We waited one hour and fifteen minutes for our breakfast to be served. The eggs were well overcooked. Not enough fruit available. No orange juice we had to ask for it. There did not seem to be enough staff to cope, and they were not very organised, serving other people while others had been waiting a long time. Plenty of room for improvement

Spotless room, almost everything was tickety boo. Except the TV in my room (138) was not receiving any signal and, thus, I was unable to watch anything on the night I was a guest there. The fault was reported to the front desk, but it was too late in the day for anyone from maintenance to fix the issue for me during my stay. As I was inconvenienced I managed to negotiate a compensation with James, who was very amenable and helpful. This included some free bottled water and a complimentary Breakfast In Bed service the morning after - for my room and for my travel companion in the next room. Jackie, the duty manager that morning, was both very patient and very helpful when the time came to check out and there were delays in doing so by 11am. Thanks for your help. Highly recommend this newly opened Hotel Indigo of IHG.
