I arrived early on Friday 10/2/26 (after driving 6.5 hrs from TX) and went to the front desk to see if I could possibly check in early. While there were available rooms they wanted to charge me extra for early check-in. This is my 3rd time staying at this hotel, yet the 1st time being asked for $50 for early check-in, unlike the last 2 times. I asked to speak with the manager on duty, after waiting for what felt like an eternity she came out with her hands in her pants pockets, not friendly and proceeded to tell me that I was early, that the check in is at 4. Well, I already knew that and informed them of my knowledge of their check-in time. She was not helpful at all and her body language was unapproachable and defensive. Furthermore, I wonder how she can possibly train a front desk staff to be friendly, attentive and customer-centric when she lacks these qualities herself. They did not even offer to hold my luggage. Needless to say, an extremely disappointing start to my weekend visiting my daughter. The hotel was practically empty.

Hotel was in mint condition, staff was very helpful. Room decor is a flashback of the 70’s but very well maintained and beds are comfortable which is what is important. Food options are plenty and very good food both in the buffet and at the bar both for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Will definitely stay there again.

Incredible fitness gym not just for a hotel but comparable to a small local gym. The equipment and free weights were in great shape. If working out is important to you this place is perfect. They also have a basketball court and huge pool with three lanes for laps. If working out doesn't interest you but you enjoy buffet breakfasts, then look no further. It was included in the cost of the room and it was comparable to an inclusive resort. They had a ridculous amount of fresh fruit, omelet stations, french toast, grits, pancakes and so much more. Everything I ate was good but my favorite was the overnight oats. I was surprised by the quality and variety since it was included with the room. The cashier was very sweet as she took time to explain all of the offerings. Parking is easy and you know it's safe since this is a federal building as it's the USPS training center. The rooms are very, very modest and the bathroom is small but everything was clean and the AC worked well. The room decor is very 80s so it's not going to impress since it's a government building but the bed was comfortable and I didn't have wifi issues.

Checked into a hotel with the pool, hot tubs and gym all closed indefinitely for maintenance. None of this was mentioned at booking. The rooms look like they are out of the 1970s. This hotel needs a major update. Do not stay here.

This is not a hotel it is an experience. From the pool, cabanas, gigantic buffets, billiards room, indoor and outdoor jogging track, basketball court, Starbucks....need I go on. I am in love and amazed. Staff was first class. Oh let me not forget in the bar every night they had something going on. One night was crazy with dancing and everything. Only issue the Classic King was a queen I swear, but I lived.
