"We have visited Niseko several times and have always appreciated the high standard of hospitality in Japan. Unfortunately, this stay was the most disappointing service experience we have had so far. We arrived around midnight to check in, and there was only one front desk staff member on duty. From the beginning, his attitude felt quite unfriendly and unwelcoming. There was no greeting, and when I asked if we could check in, he immediately asked for everyone’s passports in a rather abrupt manner. At that moment I didn’t have all of my friends’ passports with me, so I told him I could wait. Meanwhile, one of my friends asked about where we should park our cars. Although he explained twice, my friend still didn’t fully understand. Instead of helping further, he simply said, “I don’t think there is any point explaining it to you a third time.” Another friend then politely asked if he could show us on a map, but he appeared impatient and reluctant to assist. What surprised us even more was that during check-out, there was also no assistance offered with luggage or loading bags into the car. For a property in Niseko, where hospitality is typically excellent, this level of service was quite unexpected. We truly hope the management team will take this feedback seriously and provide better staff training, as the location itself has great potential but the service experience left us disappointed. "

"It’s tucked deep in the mountains, with the nearest convenience store about a 12-minute drive away, so having a car is highly recommended. That said, the resort itself offers a wide range of amenities -including breakfast, onsen, and massage services - covering most of your needs during the stay. The highlight of this experience was being able to enjoy snowy scenery even in the third week of March. "

"We stayed as a family of four for 5 nights. PROS: - location was great, within walking distance to Anapuri - the breakfast was great and changed daily which was nice - the shared bathroom was clean - it did feel family friendly and we liked meeting other folks in the common area CONS: - our room was ok - the heater and fridge didn’t work and it was clean-ish - you have to walk through the dining area to access the communal showers which felt odd - the staff also utilized the common areas so sometimes it was hard to know who was actually working and it felt like we were an inconvenience at times when we were asking for things like coffee in the morning - in general, we felt the service was lacking for what we paid "

"Walking distance to ski slopes which is great unless the chairlifts are closed and you can’t ski across. No Ubers and it was a pain to get the shuttle bus to Hirafu where everything is (only 1 per hour). There was only a pizza shop and restaurant next door and a cafe down the road so a quiet village. We hired ski gear through the hotel and it was convenient (finished by 9am) and I think cheaper. The lodge it self was dated, bedroom and common room could use a refresh and upgrade. Price was expensive for what we got but the cheapest we could find around this area! "

"Anupuri was 2 min drive or shuttle. Def the best slope for the family and the big boys. Staff was great super helpful. They emailed us regularly asking what we needed and what tours to book. Noa. Was super friendly and also Reese. Big bath tube. To soak in after the slopes. In house breakfast. Had good selection of cereals and hot eggs bacon toast and fruit... very quite and the views are amazing thanks agian def be going back"
