This hotel is worth about $100 a night. It is a very clean property and well maintained, nice for a one night quick stop. Nothing over and beyond but will do the job at the $100 price point
Not bad for the price. The room itself was acceptable and mostly clean, and the fridge was in good working condition. Free parking was also a nice bonus.
The biggest downside was the shower, which was extremely small and cramped. Overall, though, it was a decent stay for the price.
Good size room with a small kitchenette and a living area with a couch. Microwave and fridge in the room are a plus. Love that it’s dog friendly and there’s not pet fee. Check in and check out are a breeze. Good experience over all.
Outstanding cleanliness, nice bedding, minimal amenities...no shampoo, etc. A few minor defects, e.g. remote not working properly, readily solved. Everything is kept spotless. Family managing the property is pleasant and the aroma of fine Indian cuisine is sometimes present and very enticing. That was a plus in my opinion!

Overall it was good. But no AC in room, Iron or hair dryer. Reception staff was nice and polite.
Our room 309 was clean and spacious. Good view out the window. Needed at least 4 bath towels to the room. The bed closes to the bathroom had a metal base that made noise everytime a person moved on it. Remember to bring your own shampoo and conditioner.
Parking lot was clean. Easy to pull out and go to close fun tourist things. For example Auquarium and Hatfield Marine Science Center.
We had a decent one-night stay at Motel 6. The staff was okay, although there was a bit of a wait during both check-in and check-out.
The bed was clean and comfortable, which was the most important thing for us. However, there were a few maintenance issues. The microwave had some visible rust, and the toilet flush was not working properly when we arrived.
Overall, it was an okay stay for one night, but the room could definitely use some maintenance and attention to a few details.
Peaceful, nice motel and big rooms, clean and great beds.

I appreciate that it was pet friendly and pets stayed free. The place was so-so. The microwave worked for 30 seconds and then wouldn't work after that.
The rooms are large and comfortable the beds were perfect
The motel used to be a very expensive hotel before Motel 6 took it over now the prices allow budget minded families to stay in comfort
Everything was very clean and the housekeepers are friendly and helpful
I take my family to Newport several times a year and from now on this is the only place I will stay
This hotel is a very old hotel that appears to be being fixed up slowly. The place is clean and staff is very helpful and nice. This hotel DOES NOT HAVE AIR CONDITIONING. The rooms are large. They have mini fridges and microwaves. The beds are super comfy and the best beds we had on our vacation. The location is within walking distance of the aquarium. There is a RV park similar to a KOA that is right out the back doors. There wasn't any issues with them. It was just not much to look at. The rooms have balconies that overlook it. Our room was 30 to 40 feet away from someone camping in their rv. Parking was easy and plentiful. The place felt safe even at night.
We really enjoyed our stay. The room was very clean and affordable. The hotel is also in a fantastic location, close the Oregon Coast Musuem. I will be staying here again in the future.
