"Staff very helpful. Rooms adequate. Beds comfortable. Bathrooms compact. Kettle, teabags etc in room. Good quality. Soap and shower gel are excellent. Smell gorgeous. Breakfast has lots of choice. Hot food is actually hot!!! Really enjoyed breakfast. Drinks expensive but priced as other hotels. Stayed in hotel twice."

"Fantastic stay, room was very comfortable and as a coeliac I requested a gluten free breakfast not from the buffet, as never trust buffet tongs when there are gluten containing items about… Tiff was fantastic and incredibly knowledgable, putting me at ease and confident about the food I received. Only stayed in passing to break a long journey but if ever in the area again then its definitely on my list of places to stay again!"

"Male Spa staff came across bored and unenthusiastic to the point of an inconvenience to ask questions until we went back later and the standards dropped even lower with the female member struggling to form words and pointing when asked where the jacuzzi was and how the lockers worked"

Champneys Mottram Hall

"A lovely historic building, looks great from the outside but, on closer inspection, in need to significant refresh / maintenance update to get up to the standard that one would expect for a Champneys branded site. Main issues ( which were very evident ) were chipped / scuffed paintwork on most external and also internal doors ; very thin walls with no soundproofing, meaning that one could hear conversations from people passing the room ; lack of Air Conditioning ( in this day and age ! ) ; lack of hot water, meaning that taking a decent bath was not possible."

"This place is faultless ! :~ the staff, the cleanliness, the care, the spaciousness, ambience, comfort, amenities, ... All, Everything is Wonderful, one of the Best places I've ever stayed in & I travel a lot ! Immaculately spotless whites, bright, light, clean, fresh, usually quiet with shared kitchen & ensuites, fridges & fans in rooms + TVs, sinks, kettle s, tea, coffee, milk, sugar, body & hair wash, hairdryers, towels, bedding, chairs, desks, free safe parking, within short walking distance into town & shops, it's got everything you could need or want & at the most competitive affordable prices !!! ... Shared use of kitchen with 2 fridges & a freezer compartment, cooker, oven, hobs, washing machine, clothes airer, iron & ironing board, kitchen sink, crockery, cutlery, pots & pans, ... !! ... I've seen an example of the single room, I personally wouldn't choose it as feels very narrow, confined & basic & have exclusive use of an external shower room with personal key but I prefer the twin room with lovely big bay window with ensuite shower room on the first floor or double room with ensuite would be my next choice but depends on your budget as they are tired in price. ... Katherine the young lady who assists with check-ins, bookings & any problems, is Super, Wonderful, Very sweet & extremely quick & responsive & she does everything perfectly, politely & efficiently, she is lovely & Very Good !! Thank You All who run ISuites,, the owner & the cleaners are all exceptional!!"
