The staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was good but overall this hotel is 10-15 years overdue for a renovation. The hotel smells bad, and though the room was fairly clean the rest of the hotel was not. The shower ran either cold or extremely hot and was difficult to adjust anywhere in between. The bath towels were thin and small and basically Walmart quality. The listing on Expedia was very misleading. After this experience we’re only booking with IHG or Choice directly and avoiding unknowns.

This was the WORST experience I have ever had with Expedia or any hotel in general. It was extremely unsafe. There were people openly doing heroin or crack in the parking lot and non-hotel patrons trying to enter the lobby and getting in an altercation with the hotel manager or owner. The staff was even more horrible! We felt so unsafe that we left the premise immediately and called the hotel to let them know we would not be staying there and listed all the reasons why. I asked for a refund and they said management would be reaching out to me the next morning. I never heard from them. I called them twice and were told they were busy and to call back. When I finally had someone take my call they refused to give me the managers name or the name of who I was speaking to. They would not give me any information on how to contact the hotel manager or owner and they HUNG UP ON ME!!! This hotel was an absolute scam and I have NO IDEA how they had 8 stars on Expedia. I trust Expedia and this was an absolutely horrible and shocking experience. I was not able to get a refund and am so incredibly upset by this I may never use Expedia again.
