Disliked: Staff & service
The room was okay. Everything worked okay. I noticed a few things:
The positives:
- the location was very convenient. Close to everything. Close to restaurants and close to San Jerónimo and San Pedro areas.
- in general, we felt safe. We liked that access to elevator was restricted and the stairs were also restricted.
- bed was comfortable.
- the television did not work well. We could not watch any channels. Not even the standard local channels were available.
The cons:
- the original reservation did not mention that we had to pay additional fees to be able to obtain a lock key code to the elevator keys. I found that unusual. Not sure if the fees were refundable.
- toilet flushing power was sluggish but worked adequately.
- there was a dirty, old, towel hanging from the side of the a/c unit. It looked strange but the a/c unit worked well.
- we received instructions to take photos of the keys being returned and then to upload those photos but we were not able to upload the photos on the hotels.com message application. Not sure if the staff that sent the note was aware that as customers we were not able to add attachments or photos on the chat.
Overall, if some improvements were made, I would stay at the same property again. The main reason to stay at this property was convenience of the location.
