I did not know it was a resort when I booked the room. I was pleasantly surprised by the size of the room, and all of the amenities on site. I was able to purchase a breakfast plan through Expedia that was much cheaper than paying there. The restaurant at the hotel serves good food and has great staff.

We loved our stay at the Hyatt Regency Monterey Hotel & Spa. We told Diego at check-in that we were celebrating our wedding anniversary during our stay, and the next day we found a bottle of champagne, 2 glass champagne flutes, a box of chocolates, 2 free drink voucher cards, and a hand-written note from Michelle congratulating us on our anniversary. It was nothing but VIP treatment, and we loved it. Thank you to everyone on the staff that made our stay such a memorable one.

Very nice finishes in the room. Lobby was well done and comfortable with ample choices for seating. It’s clear the property has been renovated in recent years. I’ve stayed here before and it’s much nicer than it was. Hyatt did a good job.

I would definitely stay there again. Close to everything, pleasant place to stay. My only comment is, I wish the restaurant was open for lunch, had a more varied menu and just more varied options with food menus in general for such a higher end place. lots of perks, quiet, comfortable and peaceful

Rooms are nice and clean. Coffee sop on site and there’s fire pits, a giant chess board, hammocks, pools, tennis courts and a golf course. So much to do, we will definitely be back.

Great amenities for the whole family. We love Monterey, so that doesn’t hurt. Great location, expansive layout. I also hosted a training near by and 10 team members each booked at the hotel as well. We enjoyed the cafe in main lobby. A couple people commented on above average lattes. The jacuzzi was a little funky/dirty we noticed though it was shut down for repair the next day. The hotel felt like a great balance between corp aportal and family amenities. I would recommend to both families and business travelers.
