"Carlos greeted us at the property and ensured we knew where everything was in the residence which was well equipped, very clean and next door to a grocery store. Carlos also recommended a great beach called the American Beach nearby and a fabulous Italian restaurant which I lost the receipt for but the food was excellent and incredibly reasonable. Carlos and Silvana are great hosts and deserving of their rating as Superhosts. Would recommend them to anyone staying in the area. "

"Stayed at the hotel for 3 nights. The rooms were comfortable, although slightly dated, and the location was around 15 minutes from the city centre by public transport. We had originally prepaid for 4 nights, but due to the national strike in Italy affecting flights and public transport that was not yet confirmed at the time our trip was booked, we had to change our travel plans and leave one night earlier to avoid being stranded. We politely asked the hotel whether they would consider a partial refund or goodwill adjustment for the unused night, but this was rejected without any flexibility. Overall, the stay itself was fine, but the handling of an exceptional travel disruption was disappointing and left a negative impression."

"We chose this hotel because it was very close to airport and we had an very early departure flight, Its a bit of a walk into downtown Florence area - safe enough. You could also use public transportation and get pretty close to the hotel. We did not utilize any amenities as we spent the majority of our time sight seeing"

"Convenient, very close to airport. Relatively clean. We had two containers of hair- conditioner but no shampoo. TV controller missing, had to request to be delivered. Breakfast charged for 28 € is not cheap , but the meat was packaged american turkey slices and ham, don't smell fresh. There was supposed to be egg made to order, but doesn't look prepared for this."

"Old & tired. Hot & humid room with poor AC & age frosted wet windows. Graffiti in tiny hot elevators & broken signage. Crumbling parking lot in the middle of a truck park. /petrol stop. Super friendly staff who did not deliver on promises (early morning take-away breakfast). A relic from the 60’s with a cheap makeover. Reminded me of hotels I’ve stayed in 3rd world countries. The only redeeming factors are it’s close to FLR and it is as cheap. It appears to be surviving on overnighting cheap bus tourists. Will not return."

"This hotel is in an industrial park but near the airport. There is nothing to do around the hotel. Is OK for one night before a flight. It also has a bistro but does not open until 7:00 p.m. for supper. There is also a breakfast buffet starting at 7:00 a.m. We found our room very clean and the staff very friendly and helpful. It was easy to get a taxi at 7:30 to get to airport but would not recommend a longer-term stay as there are no other restaurants or shops close by."
