"Cute place in a great location. The layout was nice, but needed some updates to things like the blinds, carpet, fireplace. Windows were drafty. Staff was great and attentive to needs. Would stay again."

"I loved my stay here! They call it a motel, but it is like having your own mini apartment. You are surrounded by breathtaking views too! The “room” which was a two bedroom, one bath, full kitchen, and small living room was clean and updated with minor damage on the kitchen floor from the fridge (I assume). Would recommend staying here! I hope to be back someday soon."

Comfortable bed, wonderful common lounge and kitchen for guests to make meals, or rest after a long day of hiking, and a deck with beautiful views of Mt Cook and surrounding mountains. Easy parking, and hikes and a few restaurants within short walks."

"An early morning lake view changes the entire feel of a stay. The scenery from our room was absolutely incredible. Plus, the staff here are young, energetic, and genuinely friendly. We didn't get a chance to eat the included breakfast, though. We had to rush straight out the door for our activity at Mt. Cook."
