"We stayed with a friend and her 4 year old - the folks running the farm were super friendly, and the 4 yo is still talking about how she misses Ben & Bob (the farm Collies). The cottage is on a working farm, and has been nicely restored, though it's clearly an old building, and I must have banged my head *every* time I went to load the fire in the kitchen!
It's a place with real character - the farm has cows, goats, chickens, and fish, and would be great for anyone with kids.

"Had a great time at Aden Barn. Spotlessly clean, quiet, warm and cosy and well equipped with everything you coul possibly need. It was the perfect place to stay for exploring this part of Cumbria."
