"Not enough superlatives to describe our three day stay. Simone, Violin and all the staff were friendly and helpful. The Chateau is situated in the countryside just 2 miles from the beautiful town of Bayeux. Perfect location for nice walks and for touring the D-Day sites. Note: it’s a 15 euro trip to/from Bayeux. Worth it."
"Walkable to train station .. front desk welcoming. Room clean and spacious. BREAKFAST buffet .. outstanding .. plentiful, variety of offerings. Lower rooms best for rollaboard luggage."
"Stayed for one night as part of cycle trip with a group. Downstairs garage for Stephanie of bikes. Located around retail area which is not ideal for centre of Saint Malo.
Good sized and comfortable. Bath in room was great after a day cycling.
Breakfast a little over-priced.
Helpful front desk."

10/10 Excellent
"We had such wonderful stay here- there where 5of us and everyone had something that suited them. On arrival the host was extremely pleasant and whilst there was a language barrier we all managed to understand each other and she has leaflets to help. The ‘cottage’ itself was very spacious and beautifully decorated with a cosy rustic vibe that immediately had everyone starting to relax into the holiday. The space was well kept and clean. There was also a shared outdoor space which was great for my daughter as there were some other children there during our stay so she was able to play around with them in a safe space and there’s volleyball nets, trampolines etc plenty to entertain them. There was also a little boat that you could go on the pond with. The space at the front of the cottage had outdoor seating, sun loungers and a bbq. This was great for the evenings where we could sit at the bbq and chat with one another. The grounds are well maintained and lovely for a small walk in the mornings. Whilst it is out by itself (which aids in the peaceful quiet setting) you are not far from loads of different tourist attractions and grocery shopping by car. This place is perfect for anyone looking to get away from the rat race, reset and enjoy some peace. It is in a fab location where you can star gaze most evenings with a glass of wine. The pool is quite small if you had wanted to do lengths but it is a great size for a few people and or some small kids to keep an eye on them. 10/10"
"Ibis hotel was very cleaned the staff helpful however it is located in a commercial area not very close to shops however i will be gladly stay there again."
Beautiful 18th-century residence just a stone's throw from Camping l'Escapade and its lovely swimming pool!
4/10 Poor
"Overall nice house in the French country side.Pros:-Easy to find-Wifi was simple to connect and speeds were fast (fiber connection)-Beds suited our needs, some new mattresses, some older but in good shape.-Sufficient dishes and utensils for 12 people staying there.Cons:-There was no communication from the host prior to arrival which make check-in difficult.-Dishes in the cupboards were dirty as we’re utensils.-No cleaning supplies were proivded and no clear instructions on what needed cleaning. We did learn rentals in France don’t normally come with basics like hand soap, bed sheets or towels. Unless it's explicitly listed in the property description assume it's not included.Hopefully that helps someone reading this for any future trips"
