"The room was ok for a stay, clean and have almost everything required for someone who is transitting and plan to stay a night at Sydney before taking another flight. However, it is very difficult communicate with the staff. I forgot a phone and I left some messages to ask them, they didnt even answer anything. Lucky it is only my second phone, but the lack of communication doesnt make me feeling to stay again here. "

"1.the handbasin in the ensuite has a stuck plug. Water remained in the bowl for 4 days 2. No black tea in the outside area, only herbal tea 3 there was no hot water this morning on my last morning. Had to have a cold shower 4. I couldn’t change the temperature on the room airconditioner. 25 degrees was too hot for me. "

"This hotel locates in a very nice neighborhood, bus stop and supermarket just steps away. Walk to the ferry terminal enjoying fantastic views on the way. Staff are very friendly. Bars and restaurant on the ground floor. Only not very convenient is sharing bathroom. But we managed well with it."

"The room was clean and spacious, the bed was comfortable and the air conditioning worked well. Everything we needed for a short stay was provided like iron and board, hairdryer, coffee/, bottled water, soaps and lotions! Being able to have dinner was a huge plus, the food was good and the staff efficient and friendly! All in all it was a good stay. "

"Lovely location! It’s an old building but the painting and furniture are fresh and new. There’s no much noise isolation tho. I could easily hear people’s next door and their doors closing which woke me up a few times at night. King street is not too noisy, but you can hear a bit of street chat/cars etc. Lucky I travel with my earplugs. You get what you pay for. Kitchen and amenities are great and staff super friendly. "

"Bed Bugs... Nice Staff!!! Parking great for larger vehicles like 4x4's. 10-15 minute walk to restaurants and supermarkets. Room cleanish. Floors needed vacuuming and mopping, very dirty. Bed infested with BED BUGS. I'm not making this up. I ended up not staying as I didn't want to be bitten by the bed bugs. Couldn't find any alternative accommodation that wasn't going to cost a fortune due to higher prices for booking late. Some places wanting over $600 for two nights + parking charges...

"The door swipes hardly work the owner really needs to replace the system, blaming people for putting the swipe cards near a phone is not good enough"

"The room was very old and dingy, with an old metal framed bed and dust covering the tops of everything and tiles. The bathroom had what I would call a convienent suicide rope and hooks. Not ideal, nothing like the photos shown. It was fine for a night but would not come back again. Staff were quite ok, parking is really tight. The sheets seemed clean but the pillows were terrible"

"I give this rating based on false advertising. I believe the sign refers to a pool/spa. The Expedia description says indoor pool The indoor pool is covered by plants to the very busy main road on an outside deck. The possibly swim up pool is a very large semi warm “hot tub”. There is a bar to hold and pretend to swim. The continental breakfast is three types of bread to toast; white, whole wheat and raisin. Orange juice, Apple juice, assorted individual yoghurt containers, coffee machine and...

"Upon arrival, there was nowhere to park, even on the street, so I phoned up to be told the location of the car park - Cnr York & Parramatta Rd BTW! The staff were all very friendly and helpful though, and I was told explicitly no smoking in my room. At dinner, I nearly took my eye out, lifting myself up on a high stool and hitting my head on the corner of a high narrow shelf. Lower tables here would be much safer! My meal was great! There was a 21st on, so it was very noisy in the bar, but...
