Villas in France

"the house itself was cosy and clean, but in contradiction to the description, no private parking in the property and no access to the garden were allowed. There's also no WIFI available and the 4G signal is really poor."

"Quietly located in beautiful surroundings. Fantastic swimming pool. Nice starting point for an excursion."

"We were welcomed by a beautiful garden and lovely shared spaces, along with a very well-equipped kitchen. It was an especially nice touch that the children could choose toys from a box full of games and toys.We spent a lot of time grilling, playing table tennis, and enjoying the local wine tastings and farmers' markets nearby. There is an exceptional variety of activities and experiences available in the area."

"A brilliant holiday in a lovely area. House was perfect for a group of 11 in our 20s. Pool is massive, bedrooms all have aircon which is great. Ample space for us all and great amenities. Couldn’t recommend enough!"

"A lovely house that needs a bit of TLC - broken blinds, a slightly tired look and a scruffy garden wasn't a problem but our party including the babies were biten by mozzies due to the broken blinds. The house is however spacious and well equiped. Communication with the local manager was not great - answered queries a day later and sometimes in French (we do speak the language but not great if you dont) and was almost rude at times in his replies. A lovely area and an ideal time of year to...

"Great villa and excellent location"

"Location vraiment dans son jus, c'est a dire peu d'entretien du mobilier a savoir chaises de jardin dans la salle a manger inconfortables avec assises tachées et decousues , rideaux décrochés dans les chambres, chambre peu fonctionnelle pour le rangement des vetements, table dans le jardin pas fonctionnelle car revêtement dégradé etc...."

"We loved our stay at this beautiful property. It's larger than it looks in the pictures! Everything was clean, well maintained, and functional. The patio is lovely, as is the pool, but it was a little too cold to swim! We still enjoyed lying out in the sun, admiring the beautiful view. Communication with the owner and his cousin, who was managing while we were there, was friendly and helpful. I absolutely recommend staying at this charming and well located property!!"

"Kleine villa, maar alles wat je nodig had is aanwezig. Mooie tuin, volledig afgezet waar de honden vrij kunnen rondlopen. Ook de jacuzzi was top. Perfecte aanrader"

"La Roche aux Bois is a beautiful house with much thought given to details such as the decoration and renovation of this charming stone house and garden . Our family of 12 enjoyed the peace and quietness of the house set in a lovely garden surrounded by palm trees and oleander. The house needed more equipment in the kitchen such as cups , sharp knives, potato peeler etc and it missed a guest book with important details of where things are such as bottle bank, banks, pharmacy, places of interest...

"I liked the experience. The host was very forthcoming. Easy to find. Easy to access. Nice property great amenities. Fantastic location. The only downside for me personally was how dirty the fridges and kitchen in general was. That for me was a turn off opening the fridges and disgusting smelling half eaten sandwiches or old sauces etc. The cleaning lady should make more of an effort also cleaning the bathrooms as i found hair everywhere but this is not the reflection of the owner or place but...

"Super friendly, helpful & professional staff, and a very beautiful house full of character. On site parking a big bonus"

"The villa is beautiful, spacious and clean. The pool is big and gorgeous, the view is amazing. It’s quiet, but there is a really nice restaurant and a little village in walking distance. The owners are very kind and willing to help. Everything you need for a relaxing holiday "

"We had two amazing weeks in May in the villa. Great support from Maxime. Amazing beach very close by. We are really happy to have spend our vacation here."

"Ideally located for trips along the Côte d'Azur "

"Good things: swimming pool and hot tub, spacious for 12 of us. The lake at Coco plage is lovely. Not so good: no responses to my messages before our stay therefore confusion over bed linen. The property is not clean. There is grime everywhere. Needs a deep clean. Very small cooking area. Grass needed cutting. Very limited activities in the area. Spent too much time in super u because there was not much else to do. Towns and villages are deserted, shops closed and markets consist of about five...

"We had a marvellous time there – the location is amazing, thank you very much"

"We were three families with kids between 3-7 staying here and we loved every minute of it. The house is spacious, light and just nice. Loved the big kitchen and terrace with the amazing view. That three of the rooms exit towards the pool is also very handy.Elisabeth was a great host and always quick to respond to our questions. Thanks again for an amazing vacation :)"

"Everything was perfect and Thierry and his partner were very welcoming and kind. House is really great."

"So enjoyed staying in Frederic's house. Fantastic position close to everything in the town, wonderful covered markets and beaches."
