"We never met the host or their property manager but they seemed helpful in their communications. The neighbor who is building a house was very friendly and helpful. Nice apartment. Clean. Minimally equipped kitchen but mostly sufficient. Buns, bananas and water left for us was thoughtful as our plane was fairly late. B-b-q area is unuseable. No landscaping on property. Balcony overlooks the local beach which is clean but the buildings are in total disrepair. Interesting to watch the cruise ships go by everyday. Car rental is pretty much a necessity."

"We had a lovely week at La Toc Villa :) The property manager, Joan, was wonderful. She was very prompt with communication and helped arrange a lovely dinner with Flores (who was also wonderful and cooked a delicious meal). She even helped to get a beautiful bouquet of flowers and cake for my mom’s birthday. The property itself was clean and comfortable with a gorgeous view. Only note is that the air conditioning was just in the bedrooms and we were asked not to use it except at night for sleeping- still very helpful! Easy to walk to the beach but a little harder to get to town. Would have been nice to have beach chairs for the beach. Need a car to do anything other than walk to the beach and cab fares are very expensive on the island (20 usd for 10 min drive into town one way). The recommended driver, Alston, was very friendly however very late. He was consistently 30 min late to pick us up. We used another driver once and she was very punctual and charged less. Overall, enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to anyone looking to stay in the area. "

"Quiet location on the beach with a beautiful view of the ocean from the unit’s balconies. Pool was great and also had great views of the ocean as well."

"None of the amenities advertised are available. No AC, No WiFi, One day, no water, One day, no electricity, No shuttle service to airport, No food available at all, Poorly furnished. Extremely Disappointed. I travel quite frequently and consider myself to be very low maintainance, but this is by far, the most misleading Guest House/Hotel in which I've ever stayed. I would catagorize Casa Del Vega as more of a Hostel than a Hotel. Although the staff is very kind and the view is amazing, I would not recommend CDV."

"Lydia was amazing and very helpful with whatever we needed. She had great suggestions of place to go see and eat. Her place was very nice for my husband and I. A bonus was to be able to visit Sandals resort and use their beach without paying a fee. Her place was centrally located to many restaurants, Sugar Beach, Pidgeon Island, Margot beach......The pool and deck area was great for morning coffee, cocktail hour and to watch the cruise ships go in and out. Would recommend!"

"Our stay at Secret Cove Villa in St. Lucia was incredible. The property is pristine, the sunsets are the best I have seen anywhere, and the snorkeling right off the rocky beach on the property was amazing when the water was calm. The pool was beautiful, and every bedroom having its own bathroom and strong AC made it perfect for our group of five couples. It was also extremely convenient to walk to the helicopter pad for transfers, which I highly recommend.Rosemary was very responsive before our trip, and Kevin welcomed us, gave a great tour, and stayed in touch all week. Chef James was fantastic, but bring cash if you plan to use his services.Things to note: We did have two days without running water due to an island issue, so be aware that these things can happen. I’d advise to plan a list groceries for the week, since transportation is about 10 per person. For dinner out the Coal Pot was amazing! But also the only option and was 100 in transportation for 10 of us. Most of the restaurants closing early and following the cruise ship guests. (Which is understandable)There is a separate sandy beach about a ten minute walk from the villa that is absolutely worth visiting. The rocky beach on the property requires using steep stairs, and the pool has no shallow end, so families with young kids or older individuals should plan accordingly.We also loved visiting the Pitons and snorkeling near Sugar Beach.Overall, an unforgettable stay and perfect for all types of groups."

"The facility is beautiful; exactly as shown. We very much appreciated time on the balcony watching cruise ships come and go; and a big shout out to 'Auntie B' who stayed late to meet us upon arrival and checked on us every day! She was helpful and attentive to all our needs and questions.Just a note for other seniors, the stairs can be a bit of a challenge especially with luggage, etc."

"Nice small ac room. Bathroom right next door. Bit of a steep hill to walk up but that is St Lucia. Nice breakfast available and reception were only a ring of the bell away."
