"An absolute gem! The location was perfect, everything within walking distance, no car needed. The room was clean, well-equipped, and our family room even had a handy kitchenette for simple meals. The rooftop terrace was a lovely spot for quiet evenings, and the small pool was clean and refreshing. Everything was exactly as advertised. La Désirade is a fantastic choice for a peaceful getaway, I highly recommend Hotel Oasis! "

"Had a good stay. Car needed as beach access is limited directly from property though there is a “ secret” beach a reasonable walk away. Food was good with quite large portions. Room and private patio and gardens were very good. Speaking some basic French would be very helpful to you though staff did their best and there were fluent English speakers around most of the time. You are definitely in France but the experience is worth it. "

"Very nice boutique hotel. The suite was spacious, and the King size bed really comfortable. The breakfast in the morning is excellent, with fresh croissants, granola in yogurt, a wide variety of sliced fresh fruits, meats and cheeses. "Need better toiletries such as shampoo/conditioner, 1 bar of soap for the week and poor hair dryer. Other than that property is clean and well maintained. Beach is about 10p ft from your room. Breakfast was good every morning and the staff was very accommodating. Loved the property res ue dogs. Overall great place just bring your own toiletries and hair dryer."

"My second stay here, I am a repeat guest! I love this place! The location is perfect, it is clean, quiet, the staff is friendly and helpful, the breakfast is always great whether you order something or just use the continental, and there is plenty of parking if you have a vehicle. As a solo traveler, I feel very safe in this area, and on the island which is a plus! The dinners at l’astrolabe restaurant are also yummy and delicious. I definitely recommend this place for a great stay!"

"Breakfast was outstanding every day! ALL the staff at the hotel were very professional, attentive to customers, efficient. Bedrooms are amazing, spacious with all great attention and practicability. Only drawbacks are the costs and quality/quantity of food provided for the diner meals (low quantity and TOO, TOO expensive for what you get in your plate!). Being a French establishment, it shouldn't be like that. People are eating once and then, they go shopping at SUPER-U - 10x cheaper. It would be better to try to keep your clients on-site for lunch and diners and therefore, charge less $$ (more realistic prices!). Thank you!"
