Ample parking. We arrived from the US early in the morning. Check in time starts at 3, but the parking area is open all day. We drove straight to the BnB, left our car there and walked to the Malahide Castle and village.
During my first trip to Ireland, I stayed at three different properties, and Jim’s B&B was by far the most homey and hospitable of them all.
Jim welcomed us as soon as we arrived and was incredibly informative about the surrounding area and its history. He even passed along two bus passes left behind by previous guests, saving us the expense of purchasing our own for the trip into the village. It was such a thoughtful gesture and made our stay that much easier.
The property itself was clean, beautiful, and inviting, with a lovely bedside tea station and the most comfortable beds we slept in throughout our entire trip. Although we initially chose this location for its proximity to the airport, we were pleasantly surprised by its walking distance to a beautiful trail and an 800 year old castle. Just be sure to plan your castle visit accordingly, as tours typically end around dinnertime or earlier.
Jim also kindly arranged a taxi for our 6 a.m. airport departure, which we greatly appreciated.
The combination of Jim’s hospitality, the thoughtful little touches, and the comfortable accommodations made this stay especially memorable. If we ever find ourselves back in the area, we would absolutely stay here again. I wholeheartedly recommend Heatherview B&B to anyone visiting!
Amazing stay all around. The rooms are absolutely gorgeous and extremely comfortable and clean. Jim was extremely accommodating and provided some excellent local recommendations that our family thoroughly enjoyed. Would love to return someday!
Stayed for 2 nights. Lovely B&B with very clean and well maintained rooms. Bus to Dublin City and Malahide centre stops outside the house making it really easy to make your way to the local amenities. Would definitely stay again
Absolutely amazing B&B! Jim and Maura are just fantastic hosts and they have great recommendations for what to do in the area! Such lovely hospitality and you can tell they love what they do!
Location close to Dublin airport is wonderful as well! I would recommend to anyone wanting to stay in Dublin/Malahide!
This is a proper B&B. I was greeted by one of the owners as soon as I walked up. The location can’t be beat, rather for an early flight or layover. Just make sure to get dinner in on your way.
The room itself was a bit on the small side. The bathroom as well, but typical for Europe. The one thing that can not be beat is the bed. It’s one of the most comfortable I slept on during my two week travel around the EU.
The host was amazing and the property was spotless. If you have a flight in or out of Dublin airport this is the place to stay. We walked to Malahide Castle and the village for a lovely afternoon. We also enjoyed a fantastic breakfast with our follow guests in the cozy dining room.
This is one of the best places I’ve stayed in a while. They were super friendly and the place is just so beautiful. Room was nice and comfortable and everything was super clean and pretty
