"The Crane is a lovely hotel with a long history. The hotel staff are friendly and very accommodating. The hotel has a few nice restaurants nearby but most attractions or city visits require a taxi ride. The concierge can make restaurant reservations and taxi requests for you but look online to book most excursions and if you can book transport with the tour companies. There are a number of good restaurants at the crane - zen and Poesia #3 are in my opinion the best while the village cafe has...

"first of all the property was extremely clean and tidy
location midway between downtown and country
if you need a quiet retreat with plenty of fresh air then this is definitely
the ideal place.
if you are the adventurous type then I would reccomend some type
of private transportation, having said all that you will enjoy your stay at
the Mangroves."

"We had a great stay here. We were disappointed it wasn't entirely clean (toilet and shower), But everything else was great. The biggest problem we had was the lack of resources nearby. We drove about 45 minutes each day to get to the west side where all of our activities were. And honestly, the better beaches.
The use of the car was fantastic and we appreciate being able to drive to the other side and not depend on taxis."
